Four years of open borders opened the minds of most Americans to mass deportation. We’ve gone from “build a wall” to “deport millions” in the immigration Overton Window. Despite that the establishment, including quite a lot of RINOs are still stuck on arguing that a mass invasion is great for diversity and economics. Just ask Gov. DeWine or Frank Luntz and the rest of the Chamber of Commerce caucus.
Americans are not there.
A majority of Americans support the mass deportation of undocumented immigrants, according to a new Scripps News/Ipsos survey.
Fifty-four percent of respondents said they “strongly” or “somewhat support” the policy, including 86% of Republicans, 58% of independents, and 25% of Democrats.
There’s a reason Kamala isn’t running on issues. Apart from not being the brightest candidate around, apart from abortion, she really doesn’t have an issue with any resonance to run on. That’s why the whole campaign is about how ‘cool’ Kamala is and how awful Trump is as a person. And you can see why.
Thirty-nine percent of respondents called immigration a top issue for them this campaign, second only to inflation, which topped the list at 57%. Trump has a ten-point advantage on who respondents think will do a better job handling immigration (44%-34%).
Kamala can’t talk issues. And Republicans are doing a bad job of talking about issues even though the political advantage is in their court. But that’s not a new problem. The combination of mass media propaganda and Republican communications ineptitude has snatched defeat from the jaws of victory in more political campaigns than I can count. As a point in fact, we’re still talking about eating cats and dogs instead of the fact that cities are overrun and are going bankrupt coping with the open borders mass invasion.
Americans are ready for the immigration Overton Window. Even 1 in 4 Dems are on board with the idea.

Thanks for the facts above. So true is the fact that Republicans never make a firm stand on anything. Over the decades, let alone on any current pressing issues (that Dems and Republicans deliberately or inadvertently cause) I have taken note.
A major problem remains which is the uninformed or indoctrinated electorate. I don’t understand how the legacy media are so myopic. What caused this transition from reporting all the facts and allow the readers to decipher and analyze. And have the journalists respond with maybe a deeper understanding with their personal perspectives. Re: William Buckley, Jr, etc.

Great headline.

Greenfield never criticises Trump directly, but his indirect criticism here is spot-on, that the cats and dogs business is a bad way to talk the crime of open borders. Of course that was done by Trump, not Republicans in general.

I think it’s a great way to talk about illegal immigration’. It’s very emotional, like lefty propaganda, It makes great Ai art showing Trump as loving protector of kittens. It Hits home even for Democrats (you know, the much maligned childless cat ladies).
And Daniel did criticize Trump for saying it or using it.
See Christopher Rufo article -good researcher & writer. It’s true. They grill cats.
I rarely disagree with Daniel who I admire and trust. But, just look at my account name!

Until human beings overcome their self destructive tendencies, this will remain the case. I’m not fooled by our intelligence; I’m worried about our infatuation with death.
