The only possible non-demographic change justification for Biden’s massive open borders policy would be winning over Hispanic voters.
The usual media narrative is that Republican crackdowns on illegal aliens allowed the Democrats to flip California and Arizona. It’s their big bet for flipping Texas.
And yet the numbers show that immigration is not a winner with Hispanic voters.
Sixty-nine percent of Hispanics disapprove of Biden’s handling of immigration, while only 23 percent approve, according to a new Quinnipiac poll released Wednesday.
As for the Biden administration’s handling of deportations of illegal aliens, 41 percent of Hispanic respondents say it is ” not aggressive enough” while 20 percent say Biden has been “acting appropriately.”
The real question though is one of priorities.
A lot of Latinos in border states and communities are quite unhappy with the situation. And while the Dems bet hard on immigration for winning over Latinos, poll numbers tend to show it’s not a high priority.
Dems know this themselves. Their strategic operations are far more aware of poll numbers than the stuff that gets put out there for public release. So if they’re not pursuing open borders to pursue Latino votes, why are they doing it? Demographic change and replacement.
There’s really no other answer.
