The jihadists who have waged war against Israel (and against all infidels in general, a war that has never stopped for over 1400 years) are members of a death cult. Jihad is not only about the conquest of infidel lands, but about the complete humiliation of and subservience (dhimmitude) of the kaffir. And Islam is obsessed with martyrdom.

Judaism, in contrast, celebrates life. In keeping with the respect for life, Israel has persistently warned civilians to get out of harms way before striking enemy installations. But jihadists have no respect for the lives of their own people, or for anyone else’s. They use their own civilians as human shields, they have blocked Gaza evacuations to increase the number of casualties for the cause of “martrydom” (and propaganda), and they train their children in the hatred of Jews and readiness for that “martyrdom.”
As Hamas returned four murdered Israeli hostages they kidnapped on October 7, 2023, they staged a “macabre ceremony,” parading the black coffins through the streets with masked jihadis as the pallbearers. Making it even more horrific was the fact that two of Hamas’ victims were a 9-month-old infant and a 4-year-old boy. Even the UN denounced Hamas’s display of the hostages’ coffins as “abhorrent and cruel,” and added that it “flies in the face of international law.” That statement, however, certainly does not exonerate the UN from supporting Hamas all throughout the Israel-Hamas war.
Prime Minister Netanyahu has addressed his nation over this latest Hamas barbarism, vowing “vengeance” on the Hamas “death cult.” A video and translated transcript of his address follows, courtesy of the Israel Government Press Office:

Today, every home in Israel bows its head. We bow our heads over the heavy loss of four of our hostages. We all feel pain mixed with rage. We are all outraged at the Hamas monsters.
The four coffins of our dear ones require us, more than ever, to ensure, to swear, that what happened on October 7 never recurs.
The voice of our dear ones’ blood cries out to us from the ground. It requires us to settle accounts with the depraved murderers – and we will settle accounts with them.
G-d of vengeance, Lord G-d of vengeance, appear’ [Psalms 94:1]
Our heart may be broken but our spirit is not. And with this spirit: We will return all of our hostages. We will destroy the murderers; we will eliminate Hamas. And together, with G-d’s help, we will ensure our future.”
Prime Minister Nothinguyahu just “realized” that Hamas was a death cult. Wow.

Prime Minister Benjamin had revealed knowledge and wisdom by his statement about the need to about the very important and necessary need to engage in the “Elimination of Hamas.”
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was not only right, for he also spoke the sensible thing to do when he declared, “No force in the world will stop us from elimination Hamas.”
For Hamas is a dangerous and deadly plague for all Jewish people and the State of Israel and as some people don’t seem to realize that vicious and vile jihad entity also dangerous to America and all the other Western countries.
Furthermore, Hamas hates the Jewish people with a spiteful passion, which also carries over to the same detestable and deadly malice for Christians. Sorry, but I can’t square Netanyahu’s talk of “vengeance” with the willing release not just of convicted terrorists long held in its prisons, but of terrorists captured *in the act* on October 7, and others captured in subsequent fighting. There are 620 he intended to release for six living and four dead hostages that are temporarily being held back only to impact the manner in which these disgraceful exchanges take place. Nothing else seems to be on the table.
So in what way will there be vengeance? Will Israel stem the flow of aid into Gaza? No, that’s not happened yet. Or how about putting more military pressure on Hamas? No, not happening either as Israel continues to hold its fire, even in the face of Hamas violations. Will he openly target the current Hamas leadership, effectively restarting the war? Unlikely as he’s on the verge of going to phase 2 of the ceasefire deal. Netanyahu finds himself in a bind, most afraid of the families of those still in captivity. And if I’m skeptical of any pending “vengeance”, I doubt Hamas is worried about it.
