The September 10th presidential debate went down as expected. Summed up, it was Sappy and the Blob pile on Grouchy.
The swarmy and evasive Vice President Kamala Harris preened, posed, and proffered empty platitudes.
The ABC moderators proved they were predictably and shamelessly biased.
And an irate former President Donald Trump confirmed that he was too touchy and easily triggered.
Harris’s instructions were not to explain her agenda. She never defended disowning policies that she had embraced as a lifelong, self-confessed, “woke” “radical.”
Instead, Harris’s threefold strategy was simple enough — and it mostly worked.
One, goad Trump as a coward and racist. Then smile and call for unity, kindness, and an end to such name-calling.
Harris’s orders were to zero in on hair-trigger irrelevancies that would incite and sidetrack the thin-skinned Trump. So, Harris claimed his massive rallies were failures, crackpot — and worst of all, boring! — as she falsely added that weary attendants left early.
All that was missing from her adolescent putdowns was former President Barack Obama’s earlier convention speech obscenity that Trump supposedly suffered from undersized genitalia.
In Harris’s upside-down, projectionist world, ex-president Trump caused the Biden-Harris disastrous skedaddle from Afghanistan.
He was accused of being mostly responsible for the effects of the global COVID-19 plague that killed over 100 million.
And somehow Trump even appeased Russian President Vladimir Putin, who then oddly attacked his neighbors during the Bush, Obama, and Biden administrations but not Trump’s.
Harris mocked Trump’s businesses, claiming he was a failure. Those tactics succeeded, as a rattled Trump missed easy refutations of Harris’s naked mendacity.
The result was not an easy exposure of her lies but an off-topic defense of the size of his rallies and his wealth.
Two, Harris predictably once more reinvented herself.
She erased entirely her upper-middle class, privileged upbringing, as a child of two PhDs.
There was no mention that her radical political career was opportunistically gifted by her insider and paramour fixer, the married Bay-Area left-wing politico Wille Brown, over 30 years her senior.
Instead, Harris became a middle-class child of a struggling small businesswoman.
To cement that deception, Harris would now insist that she was always a border hawk, supported fracking, and was tough on crime. She claimed she never rallied the public to bail out violent rioters during the 2020 looting, arson, and violent demonstrations.
Harris promised to answer questions in detail but never did.
Instead, she recited scripted talking points to avoid explaining her opportune metamorphoses.
As the current vice president, Harris went mum on her apparent inability over the last three years — or in the next five months — to enact her “way forward” policies.
Three, everything else in the debate was outsourced to the ABC “moderators,” David Muir and Linsey Davis.
Both apparently calculated that if it was a question between blatantly helping Harris or appearing intellectually and professionally honest, then it was a no-brainer, partisan choice.
So, the two fact-checked Trump constantly, but never Harris once, and tried to warp the tempo of the debate.
Harris, without interruption or correction, recycled the old, discredited lies about Charlottesville, “bloodbath,” the 2025 project, and Trump’s supposed support for a federal ban on abortion.
When Trump frequently meandered off topic, the frowning moderators redirected him to answer the questions asked. Harris neither did nor was ever pressed to.
Debate rules supposedly outlawed hot-mic interruptions. But Harris was exempted.
Worse of all were the lopsided questions.
Muir and Davis fixated on the January 6 incitement. They ignored Harris’s national televised screed that the 2020 demonstrations that had proved violent neither would stop nor should stop, and as a “movement” would go on after Election Day.
When Harris lied that police on January 6 were killed by the protestors on a day apparently worse than September 11 (when 3,000 Americans were murdered), the two fact-checkers still kept mum.
Will the debate change the race?
Probably not.
Harris confirmed that she was slicker. However, her habitual happy-face nodding has been seen over the last 90 days as facilitating her shallowness, stonewalling, and evasions.
Trump reestablished that he is fiery, quick-tempered, and easily provoked. But the country already knew all that from the last nine years.
Half the nation always felt Trump’s loose-cannon furor was well-directed against plastic politicians and the fusion media — and likely saw such confirmation in the debate.
The sappy Harris won the visuals; the grouchy Trump likely the issues.
But the real losers were ABC and its two partisan moderators, Muir and Davis.
Both managed to easily outdo CNN’s Candy Crowley’s infamous partisan sabotage of the 2012 debate between Mitt Romney and Obama.
Just as we do not remember anything else about that spectacle other than Crowley’s career-ending interventions to aid Obama, so too did Muir and Davis confirm their shameless biases.
They sought to warp a debate, disgraced their network, and offered a good reminder why such media “moderators” should never be allowed anywhere near presidential debates.

The best part of the debate was when Vice-President Harris said that Trump was “liable for sexual assault” straight to his face live in front of millions. Only way it could have been better is if she used the word “rapist” and brought up his ties to Epstein, whose suspicious death happened under Trump’s watch as President.
You saw what you wanted to see. That old saying about opinions are like …holes everyones got one applies here. That’s why it changed nothing . Particularly people like you who are so blinded by TDS that a vacuous Democrat megalomaniac like Kamala looks good. You’re willing to vote for an additional 4 years of the lasts disasters. Even sheep have a survival instinct. What’s your excuse?

Factually untrue. He was calling him a terrific guy when he clearly knew

And he came up several times in the recently unsealed documents. There’s a reason he got nervous about releasing all the documents.

DEBATE QUESTIONS for every Republican are worded so the Democrat has the ball to score the points. After watching the debate again, replays too, TRUMP BLOCKED many of her shots and had to score that way… WHILE ALWAYS PLAYING DEFENSE! YES, he was baited and took it, but he was defending himself from a three-to-one game.
THEN HER RAPID PROMOTION OF THEIR “BRIBE$4VOTE PROGRAM.” I loved the new one that Hillary tried but she upped it by a thousand… “$6000 to help with newborns”! LOL since they pay Planned Parenthood up to $500 MILLION to abort them! “We need immigrants to aid in our population and workforce!” WHAT? I am so sick of the pansy-boys (as Clay Travis would call them) and suburban women who don’t like Trump because he’s aggressive and he is not in his speech: Graceful.
Heck, I admit Trump says stuff that-if there were a police officer around-he would be arrested for disorderly conduct. He is anything if not rude and abrasive.
He is also the most successful NY businessman extant.
So why isn’t he judged for his business acumen, his fantastic instincts and incomparable problem solving abilities. Not only can he identify problems (or possible problems) he can solve them.
Biden wasn’t capable-certainly-of either. Do you really think Kamala is? She never saw the immigration crisis as a crisis in the making. As a matter of fact she made it worse! I don’t know for certain, but I wouldn’t be surprised if each year from 2021 till 2024 illegal immigration increased.
I believe that the reason President Trump was so good at being competent in NY is BECAUSE he is abrasive. You need that in NY just to survive-and if you want to succeed in NY you need that kind of aggressive-pugnaciousness even more.
From what I’ve gathered Trump is a kind and good father and a good human being. He treats employees kindly-at least those who are good at their jobs and don’t try to take advantage of him.
He pardoned an African American because he thought her sentence was unfair. Meanwhile, Kamala knew that some of the prisoners who languished in California prisons were innocent. However, according to Tulsi Gabbard, she used them-enslaved them!-so California could get their labor for free.
What Trump doesn’t do is suffer fools kindly. He calls them out-and he is not kind in doing it. This is part of his NY personality.
Kamala-during the debate-seemed so winning. However, it was President Trump who seemed competent and decisive.
He appeared that at the debate and he demonstrated that in 2016-2020. However, Kamala did indeed win the debate. That should tell you something about ABC’s debate a few days ago where the moderators interrupted and fact checked (inaccurately) Trump repeatedly-while letting Kamala mug and cackle her way to a win.
In my opinion, the debate was not a debate but was rather a reflection on how limbo-like-low the mainstream media (and ABC especially) has sunk in it’s pseudo abilities as a news organization.
He knows that. All his side has is to push lies and panic cyclones.
I just couldn’t handle it, so I hit the mute button when she was speaking but watched her antics closely. When Trump spoke, I listened to him but continued to watch her on the split screen. She certainly is emotional. She gets in touch with her feelings.
A few days ago Tucker Carlson interviewed Jeffey Sachs.Tucker Carlson has a lot of influence on Trump so via him Trump will learn from Sachs. Who is a brilliant man,economist and geopolitical analyst. Sachs told Carlson about the Doomesday Clock. It is the estimation of scientists on how close we are to nuclear apocalypse. They are from the University of Chicago and have been in existence since 1947. Tucker nodded in agreement.
In 1991 the Doomsday Clock was the farthest from nuclear apocalypse. 17 minutes to midnight.Midnight is the end of the world. Since 1991 it has constantly been going down.From 2016 to 2020 when Trump was in power it went from 3 minutes to 1,6 min.Today it is at the closet to nuclear war. Only 90 seconds.
Will Trump listen to Sachs and change the US nuclear policy from one of Preemptive Strike to Not Strike First? Not strike first is the nuclear arms policy of all the other countries that have nuclear arms. However the American policy is to strike with nuclear bombs even if a country does NOT have nuclear bombs. If Latin America were to unite into one country,all 20 nations, and declare an economic war against the US, then they would be destroyed by nuclear bombs. Commenting on the debate itself,Trump was winning in the first twenty minutes. Nine states have totally prohibited abortion under any circumstances. Even for rape. No vetting,no selection.Money rules. Trump in the debate said pro-abortion states were ”executing babies”. False. In every state it is a crime to kill newly-born children.Except in the extreme case a dying baby is born.That would die no matter what.Then the parents are consulted.Would they prefer to wait and see their baby suffer and die,or have it undergo euthanasia.
Trump said immigrants were eating pets,cats and dogs. False.A viral video showed a mentally-ill woman eating a cat.She is an American. Not an illegal alien.Then there was a march against Haitian refugees in Springfield,Ohio. Legal refugees with papers. There was a speech by one of the leaders. The march had been organized by a neonazi group. In the speech he said the Haitian were eating the town’s cats and dogs.Not true.

We are losing on multiple fronts and running out of time to turn it around. We can talk until we’re blue in the face about the biased and disgraceful debate moderators, but they don’t care. They pulled it off and are likely quite gleeful. As for Harris et al and all their lies, they equally don’t care.
Remember when Harry Reed admitted he’d started the lie about Romney not paying taxes? When he was interviewed about it it admited it was a lie and smirked saying that it worked, didn’t it?
By any means necessary is playing out in real time while we grasp at straws and try to convince ourselves the republic is not lost.
It’s called whistling past the graveyard and every event like this phony debate makes us whistle a little louder and step a little faster. The best we can do is try to delay the inevitable. “A Republic if you can keep it.” It appears we’re not doing very well on that front.
