One disinformation narrative which Longoria called “very effective” for Cubans and Nicaraguans in South Florida, pushed the idea that Black Lives Matter was a “communist conspiracy.”

Not a Communist conspiracy, just a Marxist conspiracy. Whew.

Black Lives Matter co-founder Patrisse Cullors said that she and her fellow organizers are “trained Marxists”

“We are trained Marxists. We are super-versed on, sort of, ideological theories. And I think that what we really tried to do is build a movement that could be utilized by many, many black folk,” she added.

ABC News conveniently doesn’t mention the widely viewed video. And to refugees from socialist tyrannies, the distinction between trained Marxists and members of a Communist conspiracy may not matter that much. Meanwhile the media keeps spreading its disinformation to a captive audience of aging suburbanites.
