120 years later, after 8 months of Americans being held hostage by Hamas, State Dept spokesman Matthew Miller uploaded a video of himself pleading with Islamic terrorists to accept a deal that leaves them in power.

Miller, the representative of a world power, pleads with Hamas to accept the deal that gives the terror group almost everything it previously demanded.
What a contrast with Secretary of State John Hay declaring, “This government wants Perdicaris alive or Raisuni dead.”
Roosevelt and Hay were making a larger point, beyond whether Perdicaris even merited American protection, which was that America was a great power and was not to be trifled with.
Consider this video of Miller and decide whether that’s the message being sent today.
One can almost hear GWB’s voice echoing down the decades about “Islam being one of the world’s great religions,” rather than a vicious cult of psychopaths who revel in death more than life. The USA was indeed a Super Power under Trump. He leveled out the Free trade so that other countries weren’t taking advantage of the U.S. and he also made us energy Independent. America has more oil and shale oil than Saudi Arabia….we were blessed with ultimate resources, and should never have to depend on the foreign countries that hate us.

Hollywood sure gave Raisuni a favor when they casted the dashing Sean Connery as him in “The Wind and the Lion.” My mother said that. “Sean Connery was so dashing in that movie.” And she hates everybody except good looking guys.
It’s a really cool movie even though it’s historically inaccurate, to say the least. Sean Connery as Raisuni, Brian Kieth as Theodore Roosevelt, Candace Bergan, Geoffrey Lewis, Steve Kanaley, what a great cast. I strongly recommend it. When the Steve Kanaley character leads the US Marines to free the hostages you’ll cheer as they kill the camel jockeys.

A statue of Theodore Roosevelt would be better than Joe Biden as president. However, TR statues are no longer safe in Biden’s America. The Israeli hostages are the only bargaining chips Hamas has. The terrorists are aware that the minute all the hostages are released, Israel can complete the job and remedy the situation. All the pressure goes on Israel to give up, while keeping Hamas OPERATIONAL.
When terrorists like Hamas support the plan…..you know its a terrible plan.

Fog of BS. I am not hearing that Israel agreed to this deal. Yes, it was said to BE their deal but then it wasn’t. So pleading with Hamas seems moot.
Plus all that has been found, with one exception, is dead tortured bodies of hostages. BTW, the “Palestinian people” held hostages in their homes and participated in 10/7….so please no more fake sob stories about them.
