The presidential signature is supposed to be ‘sacred’. It’s the signet ring of the ruler. And the big question with Biden’s use of the ‘autopen’ is who was actually signing Biden’s name?
The answer for anything more important than a ‘thank you’ letter to Boy Scout Troop 101 should have been only Joe.
But that’s not the answer.
Neera Tanden, who served as director of the White House Domestic Policy Council, explained in her opening remarks Tuesday that she was given authority to wield the autopen. She said she “was responsible for handling the flow of documents to and from the president” and was authorized to direct autopen use from October 2021 to May 2023 when she was serving as staff secretary and senior adviser to Biden.
“As staff secretary, I was responsible for handling the flow of documents to and from the president,” she said. “I was also authorized to direct that autopen signatures be affixed to certain categories of documents. We had a system for authorizing the use of the autopen that I inherited from prior administrations. We employed that system throughout my tenure as staff secretary.”
The real question is when Tanden or anyone else signed ‘categories of documents’ that require a presidential signature to validate.
Maybe whoever did should have also signed their own pardon.

When does an illegal law become legitimate for having been in effect for a long time?
That is thew worry isn’t? some lawyer, some judge, some leftists will point to it and say it is established precedent and therefore we continue doing it.
Answer: when it’s not enforced. A law is only meaningful if it’s enforced. Otherwise it’s just a meaningless abstraction.
By the way: when have the dems ever been held accountable and by whom? If you say republicans then I would counter by saying that you’ve imagining things based on flimsy factual evidence.
Most republicans are afraid of pissing off the democrats and often kowtow to them on most issues.

Biden the Auto Pen President and #1 Worst
The autopen story requires a much deeper dive by Congress and the FBI with severe ramifications for those ultimately responsible because we know it was abused. I’m aware of at least two cases where Biden was asked why he signed particular legislation and responded, “I didn’t. I didn’t sign that.”
As one who’s had the sad experience of dealing with a loved one with dementia, when I was able to act as their “brain”, providing finite details of a particular story, they were able to finish the story with even further details.
Never once did they say it didn’t happen.

Dementia patients absolutely know the difference between what happened and what did not. Loss of memory does not mean new memories or altered memories.
When I was primary caregiver for my mother-in-law, she never once created a new memory or altered memories of her past. When details of the past were recited, it would awaken her pathway / access to that memory and she could provide interesting and obviously authentic additional details.
All the memories were in her brain. Her trouble was accessing them.
I hear the Auto Pen has committed suicide. Sad……..

The treasonous criminals behind the AutoPen all agreed that this Neera Tanden would take the blame and the fall for the autopen – The point is, Biden was and is so out of it that he did not know a one damn thing about the Presidential orders that were being signed. He just doddled merrily along believing he was the best President ever. A brilliant strategist and for years justified his treasonous crimes.
I cannot fathom that Biden in his depleted mental state ordered the borders wide open to the Afghanistan withdrawal debacle.
All such legal documents signed by this method are null and void.
