It turns out that a Gaza based al-Qaeda affiliated group known as Jaysh al-Ummah has joined Hamas in the jihad against Israel. On December 8, Jaysh al-Ummah published a statement saying that its fighters had been clashing with the IDF in the north of the Gaza Strip and in Sheikh Radwan in Gaza City:
Al-Qaeda is currently fighting in Gaza as Jaysh al-Ummah on the side of Hamas against the Zionists.

It’s unclear how large this al-Qaeda affiliated group is, and whether it has formed a formal alliance with Hamas. It is most likely a small branch that was operating covertly in Gaza for a long time, but has recently decided to conduct operations more overtly, because the IDF’s military operations in Gaza have given al-Qaeda the opportunity to wage jihad against Israel and assure Muslims that al-Qaeda will not neglect its duty to wage jihad against the Jewish state.
Even if there is no actual formal alliance between al-Qaeda and Hamas, al-Qaeda has clearly been assisting Hamas by virtue of attacking IDF troops in Gaza. This benefits Hamas, because it forces the IDF to divide its attention on multiple different jihad groups, as well as buying time for Hamas.
This would not be the first time that al-Qaeda has tried to attack Israel, but as of this writing, it appears to be the most recent example of al-Qaeda doing so. This should have gotten more media coverage, because it shows that even though twenty-two years have passed since September 11, 2001, al-Qaeda is not only still active, but is participating in the Israel vs. Hamas war, and is one of the many jihad groups that are assisting Hamas.
Many might think al-Qaeda is a washed-up group that has become a spent force, because al-Qaeda doesn’t get anywhere near as much attention and media coverage as it did 20 years ago. Hamas and Hezbollah have been getting most of the media coverage and focus since October 7, but media coverage of a jihad group is not a reliable indication of its strength and activity.
Al-Qaeda is still around; it never disappeared.
Good thing that Obama and everyone else in the room ignored incompetent, cowardly Biden when he urged against killing bin Laden.
All islamic terrorists groups are the same. They don’t need a name. Just islamic terrorists.
If they like, let them assemble themselves in a larger number, the God of Israel will defeat them.

Hey Roark. You are way to generous to Islam when you say “Desired and declared by a fringe of that religion, perhaps, but a war of religion nonetheless”.
Polls have been taken for years of Islamists and show that somewhere upward of 60-70% of Muslims, globally, believe Islam will conquer the world, as is their instuction from their illiterate, pedophile leader, Mohammed.
But if only 10% were Jihadist-minded, that means that there would still be 180 million Muslims would want you and me dead. (10% of 1.8 billion).
And yes, this is a war or ‘religions’, more aptly put, the final war between God and satan (and we know who wins). The fact that Israel is front and center on the world stage in this battle, and the world is quickly turning against her (as prophesied), lends credence to this being the ‘final’ war. I expect that Isaiah 17 will be fulfilled very soon and then the war of Ezekial 38/39 shortly thereafter (maybe 10 months to a year) after Israel has been living in peace for a while after nuking Damascus (in self defense).
Oh well, Maranatha, come Lord Jesus……………..< (I don't know the hour or the day, but I believe He is coming this year…for about a thousand other reasons as well).

The title of this article, alone, in very informative. That heading is ,of course, “Al -Qaeda joins Hamas in the jihad against Israel.”
They jihadists of al Qaeda and Hamas in their joining their forces against Israel are fated to fail in their Islamic goal to destroy Israel. The reason why this is so is because God loves Israel and will not let her be destroyed. In fact, God loves Israel so much that He even views her as His “special treasure.” Psalm 135:4. [N.K.J.V.]
Furthermore, those jihadist of both of the murderous jihad entities will have their joint evil scheming and actions God’s special treasure come back around and down on them hard in severe judgement.
As the Bible reveals in Proverbs 11:21. “Though they join forces, the wicked will not go unpunished.” Proverbs 11:21.
Well, hopefully, this is just an opportunity for the IDF to take out more garbage.

The jihadists of al Qaeda and Hamas have the minded of denial in that they have embraced intentional ignorance , in that they willfully refuse to recognize the truth is the God had given all this land that now composes the State of Israel, including all of the West Bank, to the Jewish people. This may be found in the Bible, as seen in, for example, Genesis 28:13-15. 35:10-12. Deuteronomy 32:48,49. Psalm 105:7-11. 135:4.
In other words the Jews have tall this land by Divine Right. Furthermore, the Jewish people should have this land by historic rights as shown in First Kings 4:20,21, 24,25. 8:55, 56.
