I have avoided a thorough reading or viewing of the Hamas atrocities on Oct 7. I know enough of what evil is and what can be done to the human body, especially that of vulnerable children and girls, that I don’t need all the graphic detail.
There are other things that jump out at me.
In the video, terrorists were shouting in Arabic with a Palestinian accent, they looked content and proud as they committed sadistic atrocities. They were talking among themselves saying ‘I swear to Allah, I just killed the coward Jew dog who was hiding under the table’. That ‘Jew dog’ was a young girl who was seen alive in the video hiding under table-desk. They shot her at close-range.
Throughout the video words such as ‘Allahu Akbar’, meaning God is great, ‘shot’, ‘give me a knife’ and ‘pray to Allah to bless me with another Jew dog to kill’ were heard.
Allahu Akbar, the claim that Allah and therefore Islam are superior to members of other religions, is an abiding theme.
Israeli civilians, including elderly people and mothers with children, paraded through the streets of Gaza as locals chant “allahu akbar” – they all seem too hellish, too ghastly to be real
Over and over again, Allahu Akbar, the supremacist battle cry accompanies the atrocities, because it is what motivates them
The two terrorists then step close to a house. They peep inside through an open window. The terrorist in front takes aim and fires a single shot. A loud groan, likely, of a senior citizen, is heard.
It is not clear if it’s this same house or another, but the two men then step into the front porch of the house and using a lighter, set it ablaze. The two men then leave, one of them whispering Allahu Akbar.
The next clip is mobile footage taken by a Hamas terrorist inside a house. Chanting ‘Allahu Akbar’, he opens a room door revealing blood spattered on the floor and four bodies piled up.
Another home invasion by a group of Hamas terrorists shows them entering what appears to be a study. One of the home’s occupants is clearly under the table, though it isn’t clear if he/she is alive or shot earlier. The terrorists chant Allahu Akbar and fire into the table. One of the terrorists is holding an American M4A1 carbine.
Next is a clip that Hamas had posted on social media soon after the attack, showing terrorists dragging a woman (her hands bound, face bloodied) out of the boot of a jeep and pushing her into the back seat. This appears to be in Gaza. A small crowd forms chanting ‘Allahu Akbar’, while two men stand with their middle fingers raised akimbo.
The footage then cuts to a terrorist dragging a woman’s body out of a car and tossing it into a field. Amidst chants of Allahu Akbar, a body is set on fire on the road.
I don’t need the full graphic detail, some of which you will find if you follow the above links. It is more important to understand what we are up against.
And what we are up against is this. Allahu Akbar. When you understand Allahu Akbar, you understand Islam and all the atrocities. And you understand what it is we are fighting and why it is all over the world.
Forget Israel for a moment.
Special agent Scott Wickland said that he heard cries of “Allahu Akbar” before the Benghazi attack. And then the guards ran for their guns.
In Nice, France, the Islamic terrorist who killed 86 people and wounded over 400 by running them over with a truck, shouted, “Allahu Akbar”. The 9/11 hijackers had the same message, “Allahu Akbar”.
Any relationship you have is at risk of getting ‘Allahu Akbared’. Listen to a Yazidi in Iraq.
Sabri is a nurse and tells me he had a Sunni Arab colleague, who was also a nurse. They had been friends for 10 years.
“But when ISIS came along, he shouted, ‘Allahu Akbar’ and joined in the killing,” he adds. He couldn’t believe someone who had spent his life helping people would suddenly be so inhumane. “It was a disaster, psychologically.”
That’s it. The moment comes and the devout gleefully rush to fulfill the will of Allah by committing the worst atrocities.
It’s not about Israel, America, capitalism, colonialism or geopolitics. It’s about Allahu Akbar.

Worse and more extreme than the fanaticism of the Nazis. Probably hardwired into their inbred brains since childhood, reinforced by their surrounding culture.
NAVY ET1 says
Absolutely, AA. Nazi’s soldiers who spent the day shooting Jews in the back of the head and dumping their bodies in a ditch were eventually allowed to get drunk at night by the High Command in a feeble attempt to “wash away” any feelings of guilt…or at least be able to ignore those feelings temporarily.
Not these sub-human animals. They did it all gleefully. Couldn’t wait for the next chance. Calling their parents to brag about what they’d done because they knew their parents would be proud. Tells us all we need to know about Palestinian “civilians” as well.

Unfortunately they are not the only ones, people who are not muzzie are equally screaming for blood of Jews, people in these demos in London who are British national socialists waving pictures of the Star of David with a hakenkreuz in the middle. They are no better.

Thus is not the first rime, Navy friend, I will object to the favorable comparison with those poor little Nazis who had to get drunk after their sadistic mass murders., This “meme” is moving around the Internet and probably is being repeated by non-Jews or Jews too young to have grown up around Holocaust survivors or grown up without any grandparents.
Frankly I don’t care if Adolf or Klaus had to get drunk after they shot and killed all of. my grandmothers town into a ditch in 1941. Or separated mothers from terrified children, sparing neither. They beat Jews in the street, mass murdered them. However, they and the neighbors did not forget to loot all of the Jew’s belongings and yes, even their teeth. These were sadistic monsters. So they were better dressed than smelly Hamas. Kindly refrain from letting Nazi era Germans off the hook for the cut of their uniforms and their OCD record keeping. A monster is. a monster no matter if well dressed or not. Anti-Semites are monsters. .

Needs to said, your comment is appreciated.
NAVY ET1 says
I won’t and cannot deny your premise, and would never choose to do so. All I’m saying is that underlying feelings of guilt by many German soldiers on the ground finally aroused the Oberkommando der Wehrmact to take action by allowing these men to get drunk at night. Burying their guilt via booze doesn’t absolve them of their crimes against humanity, It just makes them a fraction more human than the Hamas animals…because they required NO deadening of emotional feelings.

Too many Nazis were allowed to skate as well as garbage like sore azz. Many were allowed to created the EU which is Hitlers 4th Reich. Some Nazis went to Egypt and Syria and became muslims, some gathered in South America. There is a place, I think called the Tripartite state, where Brazil Paraguay and another country meet; it is Hezbollah land.
Paul Weston says
A religion which implicitly references God whilst sadistic torture and murder is inflicted upon innocents cannot really be thought of as a religion at all, at least not in Judeo-Christian terms.
How do we make sense then, of a religion capable of directly referencing God whilst performing atrocities?
The answer is simple. Replace the word God with Devil. Islam is Devil Worship. It is still a religion of course, but we should all understand it is the religion of Satan.
Which rather puts a spanner in the works when it comes to “celebrating multiculturalism”.
Cassandra says
Apparently according to some sources, allah is derived from Alat, one of the Arab female deities of Mo’s time. Then he stole and misused bits from the old and new testaments to round out his new fake religion or cult. Allied to the tribal warfare if the arabs, (great descriptions in The Seven Pillars of Wisdom) and you have itslame.

Ive avoided the atrocity pics and detailed descriptions, as well, since I know what went on at Kishinev and, especially, the Carmelite Convent at Auschwitz (before it was a convent, that is). I saw a few of the pictures of hostages, especially the ones of infants and toddlers; I’m having a hard time getting them out of my head.

At the time, Jews made up between a third and a half of the population of the Russian town called Kishinev, and got along well with Christians in the town compared to other areas in Russia. However, people became worried about Jewish influence in the town after the body of a Christian child was found dead and a Christian woman committed suicide in a Jewish hospital. The unrest grew into a violent uprising against the Jews. On April 19, 1903, forty-nine Jews were murdered, 600 were wounded, and hundreds were raped in Kishinev.

A universe of meaning is wrapped up in this “Allahu Akbar”. It’s not just simply Allahu Akbar.
It’s about reason versus faith. Reason versus unreason. Reality versus a religious delusion. About life on earth versus some religious afterlife, utopian fantasy.
But what meaning is all wrapped up in “Allahu Akbar”? Or “Jesus is my savior”, That Allah or Jesus is greater than I am, I am his property, I am his servant, I am nothing compared to Allah or Jesus.
And this life on earth is insignificant compared to the infinitely superior, Magical-Fantasy-Utopia the true-believer will be rewarded with if he sacrifices himself for Allah or Jesus.
The Nazi sacrifices himself for his faith in his, Aryan Race-Fuhrer, fantasy-delusion. Faith versus reason again. Reason versus unreason again. Reality versus delusion. Altruistic self-sacrifice versus self-preservation and self-fulfillment. Selflessness versus rational selfishness. Life versus seeking death in self-sacrifice.
“I have said that faith and force are corollaries, and that mysticism will always lead to the rule of brutality. The cause of it is contained in the very nature of mysticism. Reason is the only objective means of communication and of understanding among men; when men deal with one another by means of reason, reality is their objective standard and frame of reference. But when men claim to possess supernatural means of knowledge, no persuasion, communication or understanding are possible. Why do we kill wild animals in the jungle? Because no other way of dealing with them is open to us. And that is the state to which mysticism reduces mankind—a state where, in case of disagreement, men have no recourse except to physical violence. And more: no man or mystical elite can hold a whole society subjugated to their arbitrary assertions, edicts and whims, without the use of force. Anyone who resorts to the formula: “It’s so, because I say so,” will have to reach for a gun, sooner or later. Communists, like all materialists, are neo-mystics: it does not matter whether one rejects the mind in favor of revelations or in favor of conditioned reflexes. The basic premise and the results are the same.” – Ayn Rand
fsy says
Where is “Intrepid”? I guess he got tired of responding to your “conditioned reflexes”.
Will you ever get it into your head that “reason” does not mandate any kind of morality, even Ms. Rand’s weird “morality” of selfishness? Don’t bother answering, I know the answer is “no”.
fsy says
“Allahu Akbar, the claim that Allah and therefore Islam are superior to members of other religions, is an abiding theme.”
This is the issue, but it is confused by the fact that “Allah” is nothing but the generic Arabic word for “God” and is related to Hebrew words with the same root. All of the great medieval Jewish philosophers who wrote in Arabic, Saadya Gaon, Yehuda Halevi, Maimonides, and many others, used the word Allah to mean the Jewish G-d. Maybe this is not the time for fine points of philosophy when we are under attack by vicious bloodthirsty murderers (I live in Jerusalem and 8 of my grandchildren live in Ofakim, where over 40 Jews were killed on Oct. 7), but I think it is important not to fall into incoherent statements ourselves.
fsy says
Maybe it is more useful to focus on the personality of Mohammed or the culture in which Islam arose as the distinction between it and other religions. I think this was already mentioned here a few years ago, when there was much more discussion about Islam, before other problems became the focus of this site.

I totally side with Israel against the Jihadis who murder while shouting Allahu Akbar. It is understandable that you don’t want to see the videos of the atrocities and I respect that, but you do understand that in the fog of war and the usual taking of sides by readers of war news from whatever source you reach a point where people just don’t believe any reports from the war fronts because they are aware that a large portion of such news is propaganda. You mentioned “links” but only one linking to Jpost was shown. and it was cleaned up for consumption by the squeamish. Seeing is believing and reading or listening to war news when the usually pro Israel sources are accusing Israeli reports of Oct. 7 including beheading babies etc. of being just propaganda and the real war crimes are the Israeli response in Gaza with its tens of thousands of civilian deaths by the bombing with videos of the destruction. So Israel is losing the propaganda war while winning the explosive war by protecting the squeamish and that is going to lead to future disaster for Israel. So what is the balance?

Part 1 of 2:
Jews and especially the Jews living in Israel have always considered themselves survivors and never victims. The only Jewish victims are dead Jews. We choose to celebrate life. As we say in psalms: Can we tell Your truth from the grave?
Palestinian identity, on the other hand, must have the world see them as victims. That is how they define themselves in the eyes of the western world. Obama has forged a phony identity alliance between Palestinians and black Americans in that he purposefully created policy to make black Americans view themselves as victims, just like the Palestinians.
But – If you view yourself as a victim, you deny your existence. You become weak, passive, helpless, relying on others to take care of what you and only you must do for yourself and loved ones.
This current Holocaust 2 strategy is a false and twisted “victim-envy”. Individual Jewish identity and the Jewish national identity have never been defined by victimhood.
Palestinian victimhood is supposed to replace a non existent Jewish victimhood.
Obama has basically defined Israel as a shrine to Jewish victimhood that stole Palestinian land, also non-existent.
Obama’s and global Jihad’s strategy of conquering the western world requires distinguishing between “bad” Jewish victimhood and “good” Palestinian victimhood of “unbearable occupation”. A double lie. Jews are not victims and Palestinians aren’t victims.
This misplaced and distorted ‘victim envy’ sounds pretty ridiculous; but it fits into a twisted logic and game plan that will only succeed if every single Jew turns into a victimizer; and how much better if the Jew victimizer was once a powerless victim. Ridiculous? This is exactly what Abbas says about Jews and the Holocaust when he’s not denying the Holocaust.

Part 2 of 2:
We are not victims.
We are not victimizers.
We are Jews.
We were slaves in Egypt.
God led us to freedom.
We believe in our God.
We invite the world to accept our believing in our God.
We believe in our Torah.
We invite the world to accept our believing in our Torah.
We are Israelis.
We live in the land God gave us as an eternal inheritance. Its ancient borders are defined in our ancient Torah.
We invite the world to stop making war on us and accept the ancient Torah fact that God gave us the land of Israel, all of it, as an eternal inheritance.
We will always be the Children of Israel.
We were ancient Hebrews in our ancient homeland.
Now, we are also global citizens, because the invaders of our homeland slaughtered to their fill and then exiled the survivors around the world.
Every survivor was a seedling that took root in spite of being planted in the soil of a mostly hostile world. And these survivors lived until they were murdered in the name of this or that ‘ism’.
We invite the world to acknowledge its guilt for murdering us over the last 2500 years.
We invite them to feel shame.
I realize that some invaders cannot acknowledge their guilt and shame because what they wished on us happened to them – and they are now extinct.
But we invite the rest of the world to acknowledge its massive guilt and all its lies.
We invite to the world to stop calling Arabs Palestinians.
We invite the world to stop calling babies Palestinian babies.
We are confronting and defeating the Hamas enemy within our midst.
We invite the world to confront and defeat the Hamas enemy within its midst.

The context of “Allahu Akbar” in the proclamation of faith: “When Allah’s Apostle fought in the battle of Khaybar, or when he raided any other people, we raised our voices crying: “Allahu Akbar!”, none has the right to be worshipped except Allah!” (It is a shortening of “Allahu akbar minkullishay” Allah is greater than anything).
–Sahih Bukhari V5B59N516
Tafsir Ibn Kathir on “Allahu akbar”: “It is He who sent His Messenger with guidance and the religion of truth to make it superior over all religions even though the idolators hate it. (Q 3:85) “Whoever seeks a religion other than Islam, it will never be accepted of him and in the hereafter he will be one of the losers: and “I am commanded by Allah to fight all the people (mankind) until they say ‘There is no God but Allah and I (Muhammad) am his Apostle.’ ” There is no God but the one who has Muhammad as his Apostle.
Ibn Taymiyya “The declaration of faith, that there is no god but Allah, requires you to love what Allah loves and to hate what Allah hates!…to oppose the disbelievers even if they are your closest kin.”
It is their Allah who feasts on blood and skulls and human sacrifice; who calls on the slaves of Allah to love death; to commit rape and murder and call it worship; to enslave everyone alive in the mental and physical prison of Islam; who appeals to the worst and lowest in a person and calls it piousness; who sanctifies lying and deception and who call himself the “best of all deceivers”; and who makes the vile prophet of Islam the model of human conduct, the perfect man, giving the game away though, when the actual words of Satan (according to the Qur’an) come forth from Muhammad’s mouth.
Jack Diamond says
From the linked article on the details of the 45-minute video of the atrocities shown journalists:
Major Waweya, an Arab Israeli and Muslim herself, said to us ‘What Hamas did is against Islam, against humanity, against everything a human being can think of. Hamas came to kill children, to kill women, and to kill the elderly. In which religion is that written? This is not in Islam. This is not humanity. This date, 7 October, must be engraved with all humanity in all history. This is not the war of Israel, this is the war of the whole world against Hamas-Isis’. Waweya added ‘Don’t forget 7 October’.
Israel has congnitive dissonance when it comes to Islam, of course this is a Muslima speaking. Of course, this is Islam. Israeli civilians are not considered innocents and non-combatants. So anything in the Qur’an about “innocents” does not apply to them. Further, kaffirs not protected by a dhimmi pact or temporary peace treaty, their “blood and treasure” (including their captured women) are “allowable” to Muslims. Read any manual of Shariah law.
Muhammad declared he had been victorious with “terror.” He also said of women and children killed in an attack, “they are among them”. No big deal. So, where is this NOT Islam? This is wishful thinking, to believe Islam respects you and your women and children. To believe Islam is part of your civilized worldview. You mistake wishy-washy non-practicing cultural Muslims for the real thing, HAMAS means the Islamic Resistance. ISIS modeled itself on the first Islamic Caliphate, founded by the Companions of Muhammad. Nothing they did was NEW or contrary to true Islam. I know Israel does not want make Muslims “mad” at them by blaming ISLAM not Hamas, but what does it take to wake some people up?
Oct. 7th was Islam. 14 centuries of history verify that.
fsy says
Of course it was Islam, but what is your strategy for fighting Islam, a religion with a billion adherents, at least 10-20% of whom are very devoted adherents (I’m just guessing at that proportion, but I don’t see how it could be less than that.)? It’s very easy to call people “cowards”, but attacking Islam head on seems to be just suicidal.
Jack Diamond says
“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat.” Sun Tzu.
Knowing your enemy is the prerequisite. Not knowing your enemy leads to being asleep at the wheel (October 7th, 9/11). If you know Islam, maybe you don’t import millions of Muslims into your countries (Europe) and then be surprised at the result. If you are Israel, you don’t convince yourself that your enemies really want peace and co-existence with you because it feels better. Israel has not been destroyed because of its military strength, period. That won’t change.
As for confronting and containing Islam, it is not so apocalyptic as you make it. Before the flush of oil wealth created the modern era of Islamic revival and jihad, the Muslim world was completely divided and weak and dominated and quite fatalistic about it, inshallah. Allah’s will. Think about how to return the Muslim world to that condition again (it is naturally divided and, apart from the threat of nuclear weapons, reliant almost solely on terrorism). That is something that will only come about from seeing Islam clearly and containing the threat, accordingly.
There is a way, not much of a will.

Cowards or ignorant? Embrace the healing power of “and.” Just by way of example, I heard a talking head on CNN named something like Katie Turr inform the guest she was interviewing and the viewing audience that Hamas became radicalized after being elected to govern Gaza in 2006. I guess she was implying that the Gazans didn’t know who they were electing when they voted Hamas into power. Even the most cursory research by her would have told her that Hamas’ 1988 Charter calls for the eradication of Israel and the killing of Jews worldwide and that the U.S. had declared it a terrorist organization in 1997, I.e., nine years before it was elected. And this fool probably gets paid millions a year.
