If a pro-life group had issued a warning that it was going to start hitting abortion clinics followed by multiple firebombings and attacks on abortion clinics, it would be the leading story, there would be an FBI task force, leading national figures would have commented or been pressured into commenting on it.
Since it’s the other way around, there are just crickets.
“Its threatening graffiti included the warning, “If abortions aren’t safe, then you aren’t either.”
That graffiti has now shown up in quite a few locations.
“We demand the disbanding of all anti-choice establishments, fake clinics, and violent anti-choice groups within the next thirty days,” the Jane’s Revenge communique threatened. “We are forced to adopt the minimum military requirement for a political struggle.”
The attacks sharply increased.
Jane’s Revenge took responsibility for the last week’s attack on a CompassCare pro-life Christian pregnancy facility in Buffalo, N.Y., in which it firebombed the office, shattering glass and torching the interior. They left the ominous message that’s been spray painted at the scene of other attacks across the country: “If abortions aren’t safe, then you aren’t either.”
The terrorist group also owned up to other recent incidents of intimidation in “Madison WI, Ft. Collins CO, Reisertown MA, Olympia WA, Des Moines IA, Lynwood WA, Washington DC, Ashville NC, Buffalo NY, Hollywood FL, Vancouver WA, Frederick MA, Denton TX, Gresham OR, Eugene OR, Portland OR, among others.”
The latest attack took place in Nashville, TN.
Local and federal authorities are investigating after a Molotov cocktail was thrown through the window of a pregnancy resource center in Tennessee on Thursday.
The offense drew ire from the state’s Republican governor, who deemed the early morning crime terroristic on social media and called for prosecution in the case.
The Metro Nashville Police Department reported it responded to a burglar alarm at the Hope Clinic for Women in the city’s Midtown neighborhood at 1:38 a.m., where they found that a Molotov cocktail, also known as a fire bomb, had broken through a first-floor window.
A message saying “Jane’s Revenge” was spray-painted on the side of the building, police said. A spokesperson from the Hope Clinic said the window was replaced.
“Deemed it.”
Is there a reason it’s not?
