The biggest force that set back a generation of black and Hispanic kids who were dependent on the public school system was the teachers’ unions, most notably the AFT and its ringleader, Randi Weingarten, who did everything she could to keep schools closed and children deprived. And the various teachers’ unions are still signaling that they’ll do everything possible to keep holding the public school system hostage to their demands as they have done cruelly and selfishly for generations.
So naturally, Randi Weingarten, who is an actual racist, is promoting Ibram X. Kendi and his “anti-racism” to push critical race theory.
Here’s a little antisemitic flashback from earlier in the year when Randi was challenged about the horrifying consequences of the AFT’s war on opening schools.
“I think some people are very skeptical of the power that they perceive teachers unions to have. They look at, for example, the ongoing struggles in Los Angeles, where they see this big dollar figure of aid being given for school reopening and are baffled by the perceived resistance of teachers to going back to work,” the teachers’ union boss was asked.
“I have a very pointed response here for Jews making this argument,” Randi Weingarten began her deranged antisemitic rant.
“American Jews are now part of the ownership class. Jews were immigrants from somewhere else. And they needed the right to have public education. And they needed power to have enough income and wealth for their families that they could put their kids through college and their kids could do better than they have done. Both economic opportunity through the labor movement and an educational opportunity through public education were key for Jews to go from the working class to the ownership class.”
“What I hear when I hear that question is that those who are in the ownership class now want to take that ladder of opportunity away from those who do not have it.”
Asked about why her union was keeping schools closed, Weingarten began ranting about the Jews.
Now Randi Weingarten is the public face of defending the imposition of racism in schools through critical race theory which have essentially the same message as Weingarten’s antisemitic rant.
Joined by AFT President Randi Weingarten and AFT Secretary-Treasurer Fedrick Ingram, Kendi responded to questions from Ingram and from AFT members and students from across the country. The connection between anti-racism and education was crystal clear…
Apart from the fact that anti-racism is actually racism and teaches that white people are inherently evil.
In her introductory remarks, Weingarten underscored those disparities, which have been magnified by the pandemic: underfunded schools, voter suppression, substandard housing and racial health disparities, along with more premature deaths and more exposure to unsafe water, unhealthy air and the environmental conditions that cause asthma, among Black families.
More accurately, schools closed because of her.
“America’s professed values—life, liberty, equal justice under the law—have never squared with the lived experiences of many,” said Weingarten. “Living up to those values, building an anti-racist society, is vitally important.”
They’ve certainly never squared with those living in the parts of America controlled by Weingarten and the leftist mafia she’s allied with that has robbed and destroyed the dreams of generations.
