In stories the media won’t be covering, the Democratic Socialists of America responded to popular protests in Cuba by furiously supporting the regime.

“DSA stands with the Cuban people and their Revolution in this moment of unrest,” the DSA’s International Committee tweeted.

The DSA’s main Twitter account retweeted this message.

It also retweeted a propaganda video showing which was labeled, “Cubans chant “I am Fidel!”, as thousands flood the streets in defense of the revolution.”

This isn’t exactly the first time that the DSA has supported brutal Marxist regimes while the media refused to ask its members, like Rep. Alexandria Ocasio Cortez, Rashida Tlaib, Cori Bush, and Jamaal Bowman any questions. 

Despite the media’s blackout on the DSA’s support for the totalitarian Cuban regime, Cuban-Americans and other refugees from Communist and Marxist dictatorships follow this kind of news.

AOC and Bernie Sanders a big part of why the Democrats lost Florida. And the DSA’s support for the Cuban regime over the people will be remembered.
