Now that Colorado has gone full Soviet Republic and barred Donald Trump from the 2024 ballot for his supposed leadership of a nonexistent “insurrection,” other Stalinist states are preparing to follow suit. And as we sit back and enjoy the spectacle of our republic being destroyed in order to save “our democracy,” it’s illuminating to recall what Biden said about all this a year ago. Old Joe saw it coming. Is he remarkably prescient, or have plans been afoot for quite some time to bar his foremost opponent from the ballot?
Nobody in his right mind, of course, would credit Old Joe with being insightful or perceptive. He’s a desperately corrupt, senescent apparatchik acting in the service of malevolent anti-American forces, and so that leaves us the other option: all this has been carefully planned. The Russian Collusion hoax didn’t work, the Ukraine phone call didn’t work, even the fake Jan. 6 “insurrection” didn’t, in the second impeachment proceeding, accomplish its purpose of ensuring that Trump couldn’t become president again.
Yet despite the fact that videos of what actually happened on Jan. 6 have abundantly discredited the “insurrection” narrative, the Democrats are still running with it. If enough states bar Trump from the ballot and the Supreme Court goes as wobbly as it did in the face of challenges to the integrity of the 2020 election, the establishment left will have finally driven a stake through the heart of their number one nemesis, and can, presumably, proceed unhindered to implement their plans to turn our nation into the socialist internationalist hellhole of their dreams.
Old Joe seemed to know all about this when he spoke at a press conference on Nov. 9, 2022. He was asked, “So the entire genesis of that G7 conversation was tied to your predecessor, who is about to launch another campaign. So how do you reassure them, if that is the reason for their questioning, that the former President will not return or that his political movement, which is still very strong —”
At that, Biden laughed sardonically and interjected, “Oh, yeah?” But he was offering more than just derision.
The questioner continued, “— will not once again take power in the United States?”
Biden replied, “Well, we just have to demonstrate that he will not take power by — if we — if he does run. I’m making sure he, under legitimate efforts of our Constitution, does not become the next President again.”
And here we are. The efforts to ban Trump from the ballot are being presented to the public as “legitimate efforts of our Constitution.” The Reconstruction-era Fourteenth Amendment to the Constitution says this:
No person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress, or elector of President and Vice President, or hold any office, civil or military, under the United States, or under any state, who, having previously taken an oath, as a member of Congress, or as an officer of the United States, or as a member of any state legislature, or as an executive or judicial officer of any state, to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof. But Congress may by a vote of two-thirds of each House, remove such disability.
This was designed to keep former Confederate officials from becoming senators and congressmen. It was seldom used at that time, was superseded by the Amnesty Act of 1872 that removed the ban except for some of the Confederacy’s top leaders, and hasn’t been used at all since then. Until now. But applying it to Trump is palpably absurd. He did not try to overthrow the government or engage in open revolt against it. He famously told the Jan. 6 protesters to proceed “peacefully.” Nor has there been a legal proceeding — even a politically slanted, biased, or bogus one — convicting him of doing so. Colorado has banned Trump from the ballot for committing a crime for which he has neither been charged nor convicted. Other states are now poised to follow suit.
The Nov. 2022 statement from Biden makes it clear: the real destroyers of democracy are in the White House. They’ve weaponized the “justice” system to take out the president’s chief opponent. Their plan has been in the works for a considerable period, and now all their hard work is bearing the bitter fruit they have hoped to see for so long.
Luckily the definition of Rep, senator or officer (appointed) does not apply to Trump. Even if he did engage in what they call insurrection, which is patently absurd on its face because he was the head of the government at the time, he was never appointed as an officer, nor elected as a member of either branch of Congress. So Trump is specifically not capable of being a member of the class of people covered under this law. Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer are, which means if Trump somehow manages to get past the upcoming voter fraud, they can be removed, along with a lot of other people. That is why they are desperate; They know they are guilty of what they are projecting on Trump.
Watch, as a DC jury convicts DJT of the patently absurd charge of “insurrection.” What then?
Evidence? They don’t need no stinkin’ evidence!

reread that section of the 14th Article of Ammendment. It clearly states “OR ANY OFFICE, civil or military, under the Unied States…. that would certainly include the highest office in the land that of President.
But your conclusions are still accurate. He DOES fall into the category of officers subject to this Article, however, as notd in Mr.Spemcer’s piece he has not even ben charged with, let alne convicted of, any such insurrection.
This is only the beginning. I hear there’s a special train they’re sending where undesirable voters will be removed and sent somewhere, never to be seen again. The final solution may be closer than you think.

Yes, one wonders if the left will ever again willingly relinquish power. It looks ever more doubtful.
No doubt the Democrats would murder Trump if they could, but that would be difficult right now since he has both private security and Secret Service protection. I believe that is one of the reasons they are so desperately trying to railroad him into prison is so that they can murder him there (cf. Jeffrey Epstein), although they obviously also hope if they can claim he’s a “convicted felon” (convicted by the collusion of Democrat prosecutor, judge, and jury) they can persuade some independents not to vote for him.
What I don’t understand is why Democrats aren’t sticking to Plan A – another stolen election, for as you say, there’s no way the 2024 election will be on the up-and-up. As far as I know, Republicans have done nothing to prevent Democrats (including infiltrators inside the GOP) from repeating their ballot-harvesting ways in Atlanta, Philadelphia, and Detroit, and Republican vote suppression in Maricopa County AZ, and they have done too little in Wisconsin which I believe was also stolen in 2020.
I do not see how any Republican can possibly overcome the massive amount of Democrat vote fraud we’re going to see in 2024. Trump might even exceed the 74 million votes he got in 2020, but that won’t be enough. I estimate the Dems used 15 million fraudulent ballots in 2020 (based on Barry’s 66 million in 2012), and they only needed about 100,000 of them. They may need more than that in the swing states this time, but too few Republicans are making any serious effort to stop them.

I was a volunteer at the midterm election in Arapahoe County , Co. I observed only one person running the operation. Republican poll watchers seemed to be absent. I was told that the votes were tabulated in an on-site machine. Results were then downloaded onto a USB and transmitted to a central tabulating site vis an on-site computer. When I pointed out that any USB could be substituted for the real one i was told that is a felony- but who would no since no Republican poll watcher seemed to be observing. I was then told not to come back the next day. I reported this via e-mail to all the top Republican muck-a-mucks in the State by no one replied- no one was interested. UNIPARTY- the elections are not honest and no one in authority cares. I truly hope we are not doomed. Also, it seemed to me signature checking took place after the ballots were separated from the envelopes- which make the process meaningless.

The Fourteenth Amendment was written (1866 ratified 1868) after the end of the Civil War by Republicans (the Union) to prevent Democrats (the Confederacy) from holding Government office. Using a bit of the left slanted logic that CO has perpetrated, all Dems are holding office illegally and should be banned.

Kind of like a one-man band, Colorado’s governor Jared Polis is a one-man freakshow; see for yourself below:
Polis’s office released the toe-curling video on Christmas Eve, which was just days after Denver received “16 busloads” of new Democrat voters from south of the border—I mean, that’s obviously a huge part of why they’re here right? Clearly, uneducated and unskilled people from the third world are unemployable in a modern first world economy; just last week, my colleague Monica Showalter wrote an excellent exposé on a new study that found around 60% of illegals in the U.S. are on welfare. But, like the good Democrat Polis is, he’s more than willing to heap more financial burdens on the taxpayer if it means he can secure more “victories” in his state.
The Congress ALREADY has more than enough evidence to impeach the fraudulent and briber, Joe Biden. He is not enforcing the laws according to both the U.S. Constitution and the laws Congress has passed over the years.

This is the Obama strategy of winning elections. Knock out your opponent before they can run. Obama did that in winning the Illinois Senate seat, encouraging the publicizing of his opponent. Jack Ryan’s, divorce records from Jeri Ryan (then 5 years old) after Ryan had won the Republican primary. The records were not good for Ryan and he dropped out – conveniently for Obama, who then had a cakewalk to the Senate. Seems like that playbook is now being used against Trump.
It’s not merely Colorado judges (or a few other “Soviet states”) who are going to ban Trump from the ballot ridiculing the Constitution and spitting into common sense.
It was the entire Congress and its GOP majority that on January 6, 2021, introduced, used, and reused the slanderous term insurrection.

Colorado farce is just one more consequence of the indecisiveness of Pres. Trump in dealing with the coup against him while he was still in power; and a consequence of a betrayal by the entire Jan. 6 Congress, including the Repooooplican party, which certified the elections stolen from itself! Afterward, they never cared nor protected its over 700 imprisoned constituents, accused of “insurrection”. Nor did they protest against the very term “insurrection” applied to the peaceful demonstration. In fact, many Repoooops supported this term and still do!
Because it was first the Congress and plenty of the GOP that introduced, operated, and legalized by default the slanderous term “insurrection”, why are you now surprised that filthy courts resort to this term too? So now eat your own $hit, America!

Well, then, the Republicans have Biden dead to rights. He gave billions to Iran, which uses that money to bankroll Hamas, Hezbollah, and Islamic Jihad; he’s destroyed the Soutwest border and, by doing so, destroyed our sovereignty and turned over border control to foreign drug cartels; ignores China’s threats to Taiwan and its takeover of U.S. farmland, some of which is near military bases; and sends million$ to the Taliban, in addition to gifting them $85 billion in military equipment in the wake of our ignominious exit from Afghanistan. And what about ignoring attacks on our navy by the Houtis? And on our military in Iraq, by Iranian proxies? Will HE be on every state’s ballot in 2024? Republicans – are you listening?
He’s not going to win those states anyway so they’re just making it official because that’s their reality. That part of the country is lost if you don’t want to understand. It might as well be a foreign nation.

Damn, Spencer, are you ever NOT spot on? I really appreciate your comment about how the SCOTUS may go as “wobbly” as they did regarding the 2020 stolen election. While everyone is rah-rahing about how SCOTUS will “save” Trump from this absurd accusation, you have expressed the same, realistic, doubts about their ?courage? to make the right judgement in this case.
In case you haven’t noticed. The World, the powers that want to control and destroy what God made, do not want you to vote for common sense, lawfulness, and normalcy. They thrive in a chaotic world. They don’t want a leader in charge that people look up to and can take at their word.
Someone has to say it, and I do say it over and over when writing about the GOP administration of Abe Lincoln and those who followed him: The Fourteenth Amendment is unconstitutional because it was never properly ratified. After thinking it over among themselves, leaders of two states withdrew their ratification. The GOP imposed the Amendment anyway. Read all your history closely, not just what the GOP put forth as history.
If this makes me sound like a twentieth or twenty-first century Democrat, I assure you I am not. I would have been a Democrat during 1860 and during Lincoln’s War and imposition of an illegal Reconstruction Act as well as this phony Amendment. The South was right at the time and defended the Constitution. People who knew the Constitution at that time, such as the cadets of the U.S. Military Academy, were not swayed by GOP lies about restoring a union. All but four of those cadets resigned to fight against the invading U.S. Government, as did 350 or so U.S. military officers. .
