If you want less political terror, stop taking in political refugees from terror states.
A growing number of European Islamic terrorist attacks have been carried out by “refugees” from middle eastern countries. And while the perps are inevitably described as “mentally ill”, the pattern here isn’t hard to spot.
Enzo Almeni, 32, arrived in the UK from Iraq several years ago and converted from Islam to Christianity in 2017 at the cathedral it is believed he wanted to attack yesterday.
Did he convert or was he casing the joint?
Catholics generally don’t try to blow up cathedrals, but Muslim terrorists in Europe have a consistent track record of cathedral terror plots. Since Sharia insists that no infidel building can be taller than a mosque, and since Islam is fundamentally a form of religious warfare, it’s not surprising that Emad Jamil Al-Swealmeen would have wanted to target a cathedral.
Friends said Almeni was born Emad Jamil Al-Swealmeen to a Syrian father and an Iraqi mother, and is believed to have spent a large part of his life in Iraq.
He was arrested for possession of a ‘large knife’ after the rejection of his asylum claim in 2014. This resulted in him being sectioned under the Mental Health Act and hospitalised for several months.
This part isn’t surprising.
A number of failed “refugees” have behaved in this manner. In Emad Jamil Al-Swealmeen’s culture, responding to a setback with violence isn’t crazy behavior, but Europeans act as if it is.
Almeni spent most of his time in the UK in Liverpool, where he was being supported by Christian volunteers from a network of churches who help asylum seekers. He spent eight months living with devout Christians Malcolm and Elizabeth Hitchcott at their home in the Aigburth district of Liverpool.
Almeni converted to Christianity in Liverpool’s Anglican Cathedral four years ago, which it is thought he had wanted to attack on Remembrance Sunday as 1,200 military personnel, veterans and families of the fallen gathered to observe the 11am minute’s silence.
This is why taking in these budding terrorists is a terrible idea no matter what they say.
People who work with refugees are not necessarily crazy Marxists. Many of them are good and nice people who don’t understand what they’re dealing with. We don’t let nice people drill holes in boats just because it seems noble at the time.
Detectives and MI5 spies are investigating whether the bombing was an Islamist-inspired attack and if Almeni had been motivated to kill himself and others. Security sources told the Mail that Almeni’s mental health problems were ‘a key line of inquiry’ in understanding his motivation.
Key line of inquiry or cover-up. Every Islamic terrorist has been deemed mentally ill.
At a Covid press briefing this afternoon, Boris Johnson dramatically urged the country to be ‘vigilant’ and called the blast a ‘stark reminder’ of the risks of terrorism.
Home Secretary Priti Patel cancelled a planned trip to Paris to discuss the Channel migrant crisis so she could be briefed on the Liverpool bombing.
Discussion of Islamic invasion of UK postponed to discuss act of terror by Islamic invader who had freely operated in the UK.
