In their latest offensive, Democrats are deploying a partisan informer as a selfless “whistleblower,” concerned only with saving the country. This person has been described as a CIA employee and registered Democrat affiliated with a prominent Democrat politician, and possibly connected with the POTUS 44 White House. At this writing, this person has no name and no face, but recent antics of a CNN mouthpiece might provide an accurate psychological profile.
“I spent a lot of time in government. There are State Department officials who will testify. Intel guys, DoD – Department of Defense people, all of us are sort of a brotherhood and sisterhood.” That was CNN analyst Philip Mudd on October 2, and the agitated member of the brotherhood wasn’t done.
“Rudy Giuliani parachutes in from Mars,” Mudd said. “The people who will testify are going to look at him, including State Department officials and say, I don’t have to protect that guy. He didn’t operate by the rules. He didn’t do what you’re supposed to do in government. I suspect, he is worried about what the Congress will do. If I were him, I’d be worried about whether people in government stick a shiv in his back. He is in trouble.”
The backstabbing threat might have viewers wondering if Mudd spent some time in Pelican Bay or Leavenworth. As it turned out, the snarling analyst came up another way.
In 1985, CNN explains, Philip Mudd joined the CIA as an analyst specializing in South Asia and the Middle East. On his own website, Mudd touts “decades of experience as an analyst and executive at the CIA, FBI, and the White House National Security Council.” He has also “commented about terrorism in open and closed congressional testimony, and is regularly featured on CNN, NBC, Fox News, and NPR.” The former CIA man also has a flair for marketing.
“Get your official Phil Mudd ‘I’m a Proud Shitholer’ T-shirt,” the website notes. “Take a stand and show your support for what really makes America great,” with the #proudshitholer hashtag below. So buyers get the impression that this guy doesn’t much care for President Trump. “What really makes America great,” is apparently a reference to the proud shitholer his own self, since his stone face glares from the front of the garment. Or perhaps what really makes America great is the sort of brotherhood and sisterhood of government intel guys, those DOD types with that shiv at the ready.
The proud shitholer dropped some hints back in a September 9 report about the U.S. withdrawing a high-level covert source close to the Kremlin. Asked about what people in the intelligence community are saying about Trump, Mudd acknowledged that there is suspicion “generally” about how the president looks at intelligence. On the other hand, when the president yanked the security clearance of former CIA boss John Brennan, that really set the proud shitholer off.
In August of 2018 on CNN, Mudd squared off with Trump supporter Paris Dennard, who said it was an open secret that those with high-level security clearances grab bigger bucks as consultants. As Tim Hains of Real Clear Politics described it, “Mudd yelled so loudly that he caused the microphone to reverberate and crackle.” The unfazed Dennard continued, “A lot of these people that have these security clearances and this is the secret in the swampy Washington, D.C., they have them and they keep them because it’s profitable for them after they leave government.”
The African American Dennard told Mudd to “Stop acting like that doesn’t happen,” to which the former CIA man yelled, “We’re done. We’re done. GET OUT!” The eruption caught the attention of President Trump who tweeted: “Just watched former Intelligence Official Philip Mudd become totally unglued and weird while debating wonderful @PARISDENNARD over Brennan’s Security Clearance. Dennard destroyed him but Mudd is in no mental condition to have such a Clearance. Should be REVOKED.”
For their part, viewers might wonder why any former CIA official, particularly a hot-tempered partisan, should retain a security clearance. Viewers also might wonder why John Brennan, who voted for the Communist Gus Hall in 1976, was allowed in the CIA in the first place. The agency may have already been compromised but there can be little doubt that POTUS 44 transformed the intel types into a partisan strike force to aid his chosen successor Hillary Clinton. Trump still prevailed and Brennan, Clapper, Mudd et al can’t deal with it.
Meanwhile, Michigan Rep. Rashida Tlaib is now marketing T-shirts proclaiming “impeach the motherfucker,” the slogan of her anti-Trump jihad. The Democrats’ latest coup attempt has Tlaib wondering how to arrest White House officials who fail to comply with congressional subpoenas. As she wonders, “is it the D.C. police that goes and gets them?”
It’s not a stretch that Democrats would like the arrests to include the president. Likewise, the sulfuric Philip Mudd would probably not object if some proud shitholer thrust a shiv into the back of Donald Trump. As Rashida Tlaib might say, maybe the Secret Service should have a chat with this motherf**er and his intel brother hood that really makes America great.
