Mercifully, Banned Books Week, celebrated Sept. 18-24 this year, is over, and we can take a deep breath for the next 51 or so weeks till it once again rears its ugly, hysterical, manipulative, leftwing head.
Whatever righteousness this week may have once held, it has been taken over by progressive sex obsessives and groomers who are trying to legitimize the field once known quaintly as “obscenity.”
Started in 1982, Banned Books Week is proudly promoted by the American Library Association, whose incoming president, Emily Drabinski, is euphoric at the prospect of leading the organization. In a tweet, she gushed, “I just cannot believe that a Marxist lesbian who believes that collective power is possible to build and can be wielded for a better world is the president-elect of @ALALibrary. I am so excited for what we will do together. Solidarity!”
In a similar pathetic vein, she added on LinkedIn that she’s proud “to have the support of Randi Weingarten of the American Federation of Teachers for our campaign for president of the American Library Association. Solidarity!”
Then there is PEN America, an organization that purports to stand at the “intersection of literature and human rights to protect free expression in the United States and worldwide.” Like ALA, the organization has a far-left agenda, and has no problem with the fact that porn can wind up in the hands of a six-year-old.
And, of course, the National Education Association – chief kiddie porn-purveyor in the country – embraces Banned Books Week. A perfect example of the union’s perverse leanings was recently reported by Christopher Rufo. He writes that the NEA and its local affiliate in Hilliard, Ohio, have been providing staff in the city’s school district with QR code-enabled badges, which point to the “NEA LGBTQ+ Caucus” website and resources from various gender activist organizations.
One of these resources, Teen Health Source’s “Queering Sexual Education,” promises to “empower youth” and includes a how-to guide for performing “anal sex,” “bondage,” “rimming,” “domination,” “sadomasochism,” “muffing,” and “fisting.” The materials are extremely graphic, explaining, for example, how to “[put] a fist or whole hand into a person’s vagina or bum.”
It’s important to note that National Education Association perviness has been with us for some time. At its 2004 convention, the union gave its prestigious Human Rights Award to Kevin Jennings, founder of the Gay, Lesbian, Straight Education Network (GLSEN). This is the group that presided over the infamous “Fistgate” conference held at Tufts University in Massachusetts in March 2000, where state employees gave explicit instructions (about “fisting” and other forms of gay sexual activity) to children as young as 12.
Unfortunately, “Fistgate” was not an isolated incident. On April 30, 2005, GLSEN held an event at Brookline High School in Massachusetts, and distributed an obscene booklet to hundreds of middle and high school students. With headings like F**kin’, S**kin’ and Spit or Swallow?, it describes various sexual practices that can only be described as perverse.
And who can forget the in-your-face “NEA Drag Queen Caucus” (thankfully now defunct) which came to be in 2010.
Then in 2011 Diane Schneider, representing the NEA at a UN conference on the status of women, said, “Oral sex, masturbation, and orgasms need to be taught in education,” and advocated for more “inclusive” sex education in U.S. schools, with curricula based on liberal hetero and homosexual expression. She claimed that the idea of sex education remains an oxymoron if it is abstinence-based, or if students are still able to opt-out. “Gender identity expression and sexual orientation are a spectrum,” she explained, and said that those opposed to homosexuality “are stuck in a binary box that religion and family create.”
Some school boards are just as bad as the NEA. In Fairfax County, Virginia, Lawn Boy is available to middle and high schoolers. This blatant porn includes such charming passages as, “What if I told you I touched another guy’s d**k?” … “What if I told you I sucked it?” … “I was ten years old, but it’s true. I put Doug Goble’s d**k in my mouth.”
Additionally, the Fairfax school board is also gives its blessing to Gender Queer, whose protagonist says, “I can’t wait to have your c**k in my mouth — I’m going to give you the bl*w j*b of your life. Then I want you inside me.”
Individual teachers can do things without getting an okay from their school board or principal. In California’s Capistrano school district, for example, a teacher has a “queer library” in her classroom. One of the books, Juliet Takes a Breath by Gabby Rivera, contains extremely graphic imagery of sex between women. Everything you Ever Wanted to Know About Being Trans discusses bondage, sadomasochism, fetishes and kink.
Aside from the downright perversity, there is a pile of irony – not to mention hypocrisy – to the book banning hysteria. The same anti-banning radicals are also in the vanguard of the so-called Cancel Culture, which has led to the censoring of mainstream icons like Dr. Seuss and JK Rowling because they didn’t toe the Woke party line. Also, Columbus Day has been canceled, and statues of George Washington, Abraham Lincoln and Theodore Roosevelt have been torn down in various locales.
Additionally, Facebook workers have routinely suppressed news stories of interest to conservative readers from the social network’s influential “trending” news section, according to a former journalist who worked on the project.
Ultimately, all the Banned Book Week harrumphing is dishonest because no one is actually trying to take away the right to publish any books. The thought of banned books evokes images of totalitarian regimes tossing written material into massive bonfires. In Nazi Germany, the ruling party burned thousands of books written by Jews, communists, and others. The problem that parents have with the books in question is simply that they are not age-appropriate, and have no place in our schools. It has nothing to do with censorship. Our laws prohibit 12-year-olds from going into a store and buying a Playboy or Hustler magazine. Why should schools be allowed to push Lawn Boy on a child of that age?
If your preteen wandered into a park and came upon a sweaty guy in a trench coat who handed her some porn, would you wish him a Happy Banned Books Week and just move along?
No, you’d probably call the cops on the pervert.
A few years back, a Florida school teacher humiliated a 12-year-old boy in front of the entire class after she caught him reading a book during free reading time. The teacher, at Park Lakes Elementary School in Fort Lauderdale, ordered Giovanni Rubeo to pick up the telephone on her desk and call his parents. As the other students watched, the teacher left a terse message on the family’s answering machine.
“I noticed that he has a Bible in the classroom,” she said on the recording. “He’s not permitted to read those books in my classroom.”
Larry Sand, a former classroom teacher, is the president of the non-profit California Teachers Empowerment Network – a non-partisan, non-political group dedicated to providing teachers and the general public with reliable and balanced information about professional affiliations and positions on educational issues.

I learned about this stuff from practical experience because these books were banned.

The horse bolted long ago.
All the fisting, rimming [etc.,] anyone could possibly want is available in limitless profusion on the internet and these days even pre-teens have smart phones.

And I’m sure you’re very proud of it. But these books aren’t being banned. They’re simply not available in the schools’ libraries. Neither are “The Story of O,” “A Brief History of Time,” or for that matter, “Huckleberry Finn,” or “To Kill a Mockingbird,” the final two of which undoubtedly should be available. All can be purchased commercially but are not appropriate for 5 to 11 year olds. See the difference?

The far left wing uses its power of the printed word to further its subversive un-American , un-US Constitutional agenda.
As on author had explained it the “American public school system has been overwhelmingly seclatized for several generations It is hardly mysterious why most Gen Xers, Millennials and those younger reject Christianity , traditional family structures, morals, and patriotism , or are clueless about such thing altogether . Public education is programmed to crank out masses of compliant little socialists. We are uploading our kids with vacuous bankrupt philosophes and this will ultimately mean the loss of our Constitution if it does not stop. [1]
Therefore , it’s no wonder ,at all that dangerously violent Marxists organizations , as Antifa, are growing in membership.

One of the many Politically Correct idea’s which is tragically alive and well in both America and Europe the philosophy of multiculturalism which many Westerners are infected by the worthless, sick and unrealistic philosophy also part of the PC madness that is called “Cultural Relativity.”
Which is the concept that all culture are equal because this C.R concept teaches the foolishness that all values derive their meaning within the specific social content. This folly of thinking leads, or misleads, many people to view every position as only “opinion” and that truth is only relevant to the person or society holding that view. In other words, discovering actual truth in impossible.
Such C.R is absurd, nonsensical and contradictory. For example, to say, “finding the truth is impossible” Is a statement of contradiction. For in making that statement that is saying, in essence, “I have found the truth which is finding the truth is not possible.” It should be obvious that this “Cultural War’ needs to and should have a solidly based in and on truth and not by a worthless “war of opinions”
With the Left -Wing, with PC mindset of CR everything those of the Right says is just “opinion.” on a subject. Of course, that’s not so with the left in which everything they claim is true is “true.” What a flip –flop!
Two other examples of the falseness of C.R. with its teaching that everything is only “opinion.” First is in the elate 1970’s two guys said, “There are so many different religions that no one can ever know the truth about religion.” They were really saying that statement so dogmatically that they were self-contradicting. For they were saying that they know the truth about religion that is not one can know the truth about religion. Second, a shallow man in the 1980’s said when asked the question “Why do you always small talk ? You don’t ever talk about a topic that might have some value, as politics? After all, all things are related “That shallow C.R man replied,” There are so many different political ideas that finding the true one is unattainable, and all things are not related.” The wisdom-less man was saying that he obtained the truth which is he can’t obtain the truth and who does can is really truthfully say that all things are not related in he can’t find the truth. How foolish, an obvious contradiction. What is needed to counter this nonsense C.R./P.C. is the concept of “Absolutism.” Which a definition of this, with the scope of the topic, is “An absolute standard or principle.”
In this cultural war it’s the Bible with its absolute standards and principles to stand firm against the extreme folly and foolishness of the CR and PC concepts. In conclusion, in this War of Ideas a firm foundation for truth may be found in the Bible and not the weak folly of CR. in which everything is “opinion.”

Those thoroughly far- left infiltrated organizations as the American Federation of Teachers and the National education Association as well as other similar institutions with their awful scheme to indoctrinated, as in brainwash impressionable young people in the American public system into the mindset of accepting and embracing the politically correct ideology and Islamic propaganda of multiculturalism under the guise of “education.”
First, it should be made clear the American was not founded of the horrendously evil and horrible CRT and WOKE as well as other nonsensical forms of PC philosophy including Marxism
Second, much of the greatness of the history of the United States of America is because this nation was, mostly founded and based upon the Judo- Christian percepts and the concepts and values of Bible based Christianity and not Islamic precepts and “values.”
As the second President of the United States, John Adams, had, so well, declared when he wrote that “The general principles upon which the Fathers achieved independence were the general principles of Christianity …. I will avow that I believed and now believe that those general principles of Christianity are eternal and immutable as the existence of God.”

We thought twice about running this article in our own publication, just as school boards absurdly refused to allow Citizens read aloud at their meetings passages from the pornographic books in their own school libraries. But, the public needs to know, so we will run it tomorrow
