When I was a young boy, I saw an ad for a “farewell concert” for Barbara Streisand, vowing that this was her absolutely final performance. Years and decades have passed, and sonorous shriekster is still out there, wailing away tunelessly while dogs howl and windows break.
Streisand has realized that since nobody will mess her, she might as well never go away.
And here she is beclowing herself with a desperate bid for attention.
Barbra Streisand performed at Madison Square Garden in New York City on Saturday night — with Bill and Hillary Clinton, Rep. Jerry Nadler and Rev. Al Sharpton in the crowd for the sold-out show.
Never one to shy away from politics, the Oscar winner told Republicans to cover their ears before she launched into a satirical version of “Send in the Clowns” mocking President Trump.
Following the parody, a Photoshopped photo of one of Trump’s Time magazine covers appeared on a screen behind Streisand with the president in clown makeup and a headline, “Clown of the Year.”
These are exactly the kinds of bold ideas certain to win the hearts of elderly boomers living on the Upper East Side.
That and celebrating an anti-Semite linked to the murder of Jews.
.”BarbraStreisand gets political. After shout outs to @TheRevAl and @RepJerryNadler then @BillClinton who gets thunderous applause,” a reporter in the audience tweeted.
Al Sharpton played a major role in the Crown Heights Pogrom, which led to the deaths of two Jewish people, and one Italian man, mistaken for an Orthodox Jew, two of those were straight murders.
The next evening, according to the sworn testimony of Efraim Lipkind, a former, resident of Crown Heights, Sharpton started agitating the crowd.
“Then we had a famous man, Al Sharpton, who came down, and he said Tuesday night, kill the Jews, two times. I heard him, and he started to lead a charge across the street to Utica.”
This is what Barbara Streisand and the Democrats support.
The latest wave of anti-Semitic hate crime attacks on Jews in Crown Heights are part of a pattern of Democrat complicity.
Audience members snapped photos and captured video of the Clintons as they exited MSG. Bill Clinton went up to Dinkins after spotting him in the audience, and they embraced one another and exchanged words.
Dinkins was the politician who allowed the violent racist attacks on Jews to continue with minimal police intervention. Mayor Bill de Blasio is his protege.
