No, not that one.
Bernie Sanders didn’t mention anything about Warren’s Cherokee background. He used the only “C” word lefties care about.
“Capitalist”.
Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) said in a new interview that a major difference between him and Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) is Warren’s support of capitalism.
“There are differences between Elizabeth and myself,” Sanders said, referring to Warren. “Elizabeth, I think, as you know, has said that she is a capitalist through her bones. I’m not.”
“I am, I believe, the only candidate who’s going to say to the ruling class of this country, ‘Enough. Enough with your greed, and with your corruption. We need real change in this country,’ ” Sanders added.
You’re a millionaire senator who has spent his entire working adult life in government. YOU ARE THE RULING CLASS.
If being a millionaire who’s in third place for the Democrat nomination for the White House doesn’t make you part of the ruling class, what does?
But Sanders has a point. Unlike him, Warren has occasionally worked for corporations in the private sector. Bernie Sanders meanwhile gets paid by corporations to write/put his name on books.
Technically, Bernie Sanders wins the Karl Marx Award for Best Unemployed and Unemployable Socialist.
Anyway, Bernie and Warren can then debate which of them will send more kulaks to the gulags.
