Bernie Sanders is more honest than Elizabeth Warren.
Where Warren refused to admit that her support for Bernie’s plan to destroy health care in America and replace it with socialized medicine would cause tax hikes on the middle class, Bernie happily admitted it. And where, Warren is now trying to figure out a bunch of lies to explain how she’ll pay for all of it, Bernie more honestly says that he doesn’t know and doesn’t really care.
“We’re trying to pay for the damn thing,” he tells John Harwood, and then shifts into his stock speech about the rich not paying enough.
When asked for actual details, he replies with, “You’re asking me to come up with an exact detailed plan of how every American — how much you’re going to pay more in taxes, how much I’m going to pay. I don’t think I have to do that right now.”
Of course not.
Why bother coming up with a way to prove that your plan, which Warren and Kamala Harris also endorsed, to completely transform health care is actually viable?
Bernie will just issue an order and it will happen.
Earlier, Bernie declares, “I have never worked for a corporation myself.”
Or anywhere except as a government official.
More accurately, until recently, Bernie has never worked. Period.
Of course he can’t figure out how to pay for anything or even be bothered to care.
