Tornadoes. Where do they come from anyway?
Biden used his call with affected states to push the global warming conspiracy theory of tornadoes. Deanne Criswell, who has an MPA, with no scientific background, declared that the tornadoes that caused so much devastation were the “new normal”.
Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Administrator Deanne Criswell on Sunday said extreme weather events like the storms and tornadoes that swept through a number of states this weekend “is going to be our new normal,” pointing to the effects of climate change.
“This is going to be our new normal and the effects that we’re seeing from climate change are the crisis of our generation,” Criswell told co-host Jake Tapper on CNN’s “State of the Union.”
Criswell has an MPA. If we want to know how to run a hidebound bureaucracy, consult her. If you want to know anything about weather science, talk to someone with an actual degree.
Not a degree in bureaucracy.
But does Criswell want to claim that we’re now going to see devastating tornadoes hit every year? Because that’s what saying it’s the “new normal” means.
Of course she doesn’t.
At least genuine doomsayers will commit to a timetable for the apocalypse, instead of adjusting it every few years after consulting the chicken entrails of scientism.
What Criswell means is that she and her cohort are going to continue falsely blaming any natural disaster on global warming and declaring that it represents the new normal, while saying nothing when the tornadoes or hurricanes don’t hit.
There’s chicanery and there’s cowardly chicanery. This is the latter variety.
