The Biden administration has a plan for the Hamas-Israel war. It’s the same plan that past administrations have unleashed on Israel. Pressure Netanyahu or whoever is in office into ignoring voters and conservative members of his coalition, push him into making a deal with the Islamic terrorists, and go back to advocating for a terrorist state. The problem is that things fundamentally changed in Israel on Oct 7 even if they didn’t change in D.C.
When the Biden administration wanted Israel to stop its offensive at the end of 2023, it didn’t get its wish. Now it’s fighting to keep Israel from going into Rafah and finishing off Hamas in its last stronghold.
So the Biden administration has ramped up a pressure campaign, much of it under the radar, but that is playing out across various fronts. The administration has enabled the “monitoring” of Israeli attacks on Hamas for “human rights violations” in a way that may trigger a shutoff of arms sales. It also tested the waters by sanctioning four Israeli Jewish activists for allegedly harassing terrorists and their supporters.
This was a trial balloon and it looks like the Biden administration is preparing to escalate.
The United States is considering imposing sanctions on Israel’s Finance Minister Bezalel Smotich and National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir, the Wall Street Journal reported on Thursday.
According to the report, the US was preparing a package of sanctions that would include actions taken against the two far-right ministers who are influential members of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s cabinet.
The sanctions were considered amid exacerbated tensions between the US and Israel due to Washington’s insistence that Israel refrain from carrying out a full-fledged invasion of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip.
Sanctioning cabinet members of an allied government would be unprecedented, but apparently, that was Plan A and still on the backburner.
Last month, the U.S. administration was considering enacting a package meant to send a message of discontent to Israel.
The package, U.S. officials said, would have included a reversal of two Trump-era policies: one that allows products made in Jewish settlements in the Israel-occupied West Bank to be labeled as being “Made in Israel,” and another that upended longstanding U.S. policy that the West Bank settlements violate international law.
U.S. officials said they were also considering imposing sanctions on two influential members of Netanyahu’s right-wing government: Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich and National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir.
Taken together, U.S. officials said, the package could have sent a strong message of discontent. But, in the end, the Biden administration only enacted sanctions against four largely unknown Israeli settlers, once again tempering the Biden administration’s response.
Leaking this to the media however, makes it clear that the Biden administration is preparing to escalate to stop Israel’s campaign against Hamas.

Based on Tucker Carlson’s recent Russian revelations of how “harsh sanctions” have had no impact there, I’d say the Israeli cabinet ministers will be just fine.
During Carlson & crew’s recent stay in Russia to interview Putin, they made a trip to the grocery store to both stock up on food for the week and witness how sanctions were affecting the average Russian. The stores were stocked full of everything. After taking several full shopping carts to the register (with several members of the crew being routine weekly shoppers back home), they guesstimated the cost would be around $500 US. It turned out to be just over $100.
So…I’ll ask you, just exactly who is it that’s being “sanctioned” here? It would seem that we are they.

Cabbage Brain Biden is desperate to earn the votes of the terrorists in swing states that have adopted the #AbandonBiden hashtag. Make no mistake, Israel and the Jews will be thrown under the bus prior to the sElection where Joe will control the counting, much like his namesake in the USSR.
His mentor FDR is best known for putting Americans into concentration camps and for sending Jews to Germany to be murdered.

You can’t eat just one potato chip and Biden can’t undermine just one country. He or his boss (Hi Barack!) embodies irrational hate to the nth degree.

Iran’s regime is OK, but not Israel’s.
I said in my comment to the article on Bideneconomics that the government acts as employer and not employee of the American people. Not only does the government demand that Americans serve its unAmerican domestic interests, it also demands Israelis to serve its jihad foreign interests.
Palestine is a synonym for Hamas, Hezbollah, PFLP, PLO. Will Americans allow the Biden government to become a full blown proxy of Iran, too?

Blinken and his team have completely misunderstood the Israeli mindset following the atrocities of 10/7. Like Obama, he seems to believe he can drive a wedge between Netanyahu and the opposition, as suggested by his recent (failed) attempt to meet privately with the Israeli war minister.
Anyone who has Israeli friends and acquaintances would realize this ploy will not succeed. Although there is certainly a lot of simmering opposition and disagreement with the Prime Minister, particularly concerning his alleged ignorance or bungling of intelligence reports leading up to the attacks, most people are setting this aside for the sake of prosecuting the war against Hamas…and soon, perhaps, also a major war against Hezbollah in Lebanon.
There will be time enough for recriminations and investigations later on. Meanwhile, the Americans as usual are screwing things up. The likely long-term outcome will be a distancing by Israel from a Democrat run government that seems more aligned with Iran than with America’s one real ally in the Middle East and oasis of freedom and democracy.

One must examine some historical predicates that led to the current situation. Caroline Glick covers the Washington Post’s story of the creation of a “Palestinian” state which brings to mind some details.
When the Arab countries suffered a devastating loss in the Six-Day war a new tactic had to be considered. The Jewish State was just too formidable to attack in it’s present state so it became “land for peace”. Given enough land swaps the surrounding Arab nations would have a much better chance to succeed. Even Sadat in his speech reflected this when saying, “this is only just the beginning”. Little did the Israelis in the Knesset realize what they rejoiced about. After Sinai the next stage is the infamous “Palestinian” State. Just as those who welcome such an idea will soon realize the demand for the Golan will be next. At that point the Arabs will have met their long time goal, the end of a “Jewish” State.

Israeli left is connected to the United States (yes, there are -or were – some lefty kumbaya nuts there too but fewer now). Israeli right is most everyone who wants to live and be secure. If somehow Israel could never associate with the `US again, they’d be fine. That simply has to be a goal, in terms of sources of arms for war anyway. US cannot be trusted. It has failed its moral duty and betrayed its founding and is wholly unworthy of `israel.
Terry Traub says
Israel is nearly self-sufficient in military equipment today. They continue to be reliant on the U.S. for anti-missile Iron Dome resupplies and advanced fighter jets. But Israel has its own anti-missile tech that is constantly improving, as well as homegrown fighter jets and drones. Their avionics and air force tactics are best in the world. Their tanks are the best in the world. Their ground forces are smart and effective, the best in the world when it comes to urban warfare.
Ultimately, Israel should just say “No, thank you” to continued American “aid”, most of which is merely guaranteed loans to purchase mediocre military gear from U.S. defense contractors. It is a combination of welfare for Raytheon and its ilk, and a kind of golden handcuffs to prevent Israel selling its own gear competitively on global markets and devastating American exports.
It’s time to get off the teat and stand on its own two feet. If the U.S. continues providing aid to Gaza, West Bank, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Turkey, Iraq, Pakistan, and other sworn enemies of Israel, so be it. The Americans can look like fools, while Israel wins.

Biden would walk over his own mother for a few votes in Dearborn and from insane Leftists. He really is unprincipled and a loathsome individual. When he told Israel he “had their back” the Israelis should have read the small print where it said “in which to stab you.”

Theres no doubt that the supporters that Biden has left are pro-palestinian-Hamas. Many people in America turned against this administration because of the anti-Israel policies implemented. The government needs to but out of Israel’s rights to defend their homeland. Biden should focus his energies on taking care of America’s borders but his actions are everywhere but here in the U.S.
This campaign against those who attacked Israel is not going to end. It shall be completed. The events that are happening now are all part of the fulfillment of Psalm 83 prophecy and has final judgment. The Arab confederate that is trying to cut the nation of Israel off, and say, “Let the name of Israel be remembered no more,” is going to be dealt with.
At some point Israel will know that the Lord has empowered their might by empowering the IDF.
Palestine became a superseding name imposed upon the land by the Romans in 135 AD.
