Israel has had plenty of experience with peacekeeping forces on its borders before. Whether it’s in Jerusalem or Lebanon, international peacekeeping forces do nothing to stop attacks on Israel and provide cover for Muslim attackers. And with a record of generations of failure, somehow this terrible idea is being rebooted yet again.
Biden administration officials are in preliminary “conversations” about options for stabilizing post-war Gaza, including a proposal for the Pentagon to help fund either a multinational force or a Palestinian peacekeeping team.
The options being considered would not involve U.S. troops on the ground, according to two Defense Department officials and two other U.S. officials, all granted anonymity to discuss the closed-door diplomatic and military negotiations. Instead, DOD funding would go toward the needs of the security force and complement assistance from other countries.
Asked for comment, a senior administration official said “we are working with partners on various scenarios for interim governance and security structures in Gaza once the crisis recedes,” declining to detail specifics. “We’ve had a number of conversations with both the Israelis and our partners about key elements for the day after in Gaza when the time is right.”
A ‘Palestinian’ force means most likely the terrorists from the Palestinian Authority, some of whom took part in the Oct 7 massacres, and who continue to plot and carry out terrorist attacks against Israelis.
While a multinational force either means a UN force of the same kind that allowed Jordanian snipers to terrorize Jerusalem homes and Fedayeen Jihadists to invade Israel from Gaza and massacre civilians before the Six Day War, or worse yet, a “regional” Arab Muslim armed force.
The implication is that the Biden administration favors the latter approach.
Although U.S. officials have had conversations with regional partners about what the makeup of such a force would look like, none has confirmed participation because the plan is not finalized, the DOD official said. Many countries in the Middle East told the Biden administration they would consider participation only when there was a serious two-state solution plan in place.
Bringing in Arab Muslim armed forces into Gaza would put enemy nations in a position to invade deep into the heart of Israel.
Either way, an international force will be an occupation of part of Israel, and will prevent it from being able to respond to terrorist attacks out of Gaza. It will effectively turn Gaza right back into a terrorist enclave in which Hamas, Islamic Jihad and anyone else can safely operate.
Part of me wishes a jihad force posing as peacekeepers could be sent into Gaza. Give them all blue helmets like the war watchers in the UN wore in Beirut back in the day, so the IDF knows who to shoot.
International “peace-keeping” forces have generally been useless or harmful.
I would say mostly harmful AA.
For starters, “peacekeeping force” is an oxymoron. It stands side by side with that other tactic the left loves, “proportionate response,” that only furthers perpetual war.
Yeah, how do you keep peace in a war? Wars aren’t exactly peaceful. There’s no peace to keep.
Some of them even formed rape gangs. You can guess which continent they came from.
The same as with everything else the leftists do. The words they make up never mean what people think.
Diversity means official racism.
Peace means rule of the criminals and terrorists over people.
Thats not Peace Keeping that War Making
The world is pretending that there still is a Gaza and there will be a Gaza after Israel destroys Hamas.
They know that the ‘state’ of Gaza is dead.
Gaza sentenced itself to death on October 7th.
Only Israel, with the help of God, will decide what will be in what was Gaza.
Oh yeah, that’ll be a miracle, a real biggie of a miracle.
But knowing our history, what else is new?

So while i don’t understand everything you said, I agree that only Israel in charge of Gaza is safe for displaced Israelis to return to their homes and all Jews to be safe. Otherwise, its war again in a few months with the new terrorist entity just like the old terrorist entity.
These plans posted everywhere in media are an outrage. If they happen, the war with Hamas morphs into. war with PA (pay for slay terror group). Perhaps Bibi & others haven’t denounced it yet, because they need to buy arms from the US right now. I hope they have not agreed to this.
Please pray, pray for a Trump win in November. at least he can be reasoned with on this madness.
I am saying that the concept, this experiment, of using Gaza (and any other dunam of the land of Israel) for a fake peoplehood created to destroy Israel, is dead.
Obviously, Gaza Hamas is a failed experiment only for Israel and a whopping success for the rest of the world.
Gaza is not fixable with more Gaza. It cannot be resuscitated with troop therapy, pier therapy, revitalized PA therapy, humanitarian aid therapy, negotiating therapy and blood libel therapy.
We are in the innermost realm of a macabre and absurd world. No solution imposed on Israel by a world that hates her will ‘revive’ something that never existed or could ever have existed.
I pray that God protects us, lead the IDF to the hostages and total victory against Gaza Hamas.
I pray that God nullify the world’s evil NOW.
It’s a long way to November.
If the choice between Israel and Jihad, between life and death, between blessing and curse, isn’t made clearer to Americans, I am pessimistic of the election’s outcome.

Yes, handing over Gaza to the Paleosimians after exterminating Hamas would guarantee it would go back to the way it was and the jihad terrorism would start all over again.
Well … we can always count on the Demokkkrats to pick the most anti-American and disgusting thing possible …
… and now that includes trying to defeat Israel and save Hamas.
