A little background.
In his first phone call with Putin, President Trump blasted the START treaty as a bad deal that gave Moscow a free ride. Next month, the Pentagon officially came out and said what everyone knew.
This was a sharp contrast with the previous administration which had refused to detail Russian violations. It falsely claimed that it couldn’t answer the question because “the New START treaty forbids releasing to the public data and information obtained during implementation of the treaty.”
While Trump rejected an extension, Biden gave Putin a 5-year extension with no preconditions.
Now he’s whining.
The United States on Tuesday accused Russia of violating a major nuclear arms control agreement by not allowing on-site inspections and refusing to meet to discuss such concerns.
“Russia is not complying with its obligation under the New START Treaty to facilitate inspection activities on its territory,” a State Department spokesperson told The Hill. “Russia’s refusal to facilitate inspection activities prevents the United States from exercising important rights under the treaty and threatens the viability of U.S.-Russian nuclear arms control.”
New START was a scam. Like virtually every Russian arms pact.
Biden chose to climb on board even while his people were claiming that Trump was a Russian puppet. Now these are the consequences. And the treaty is in force until 2026. At least for us. The Russians will just go on ignoring it and laughing at us.
Curiously, cheating is an essential aspect of both Communism and Islam. Lots of tangents from that. My particular favorite is analyzing both Communism and Islam as vicious circles within a Prisoner’s Dilemma framework. Maximally destructive.
The difference now is that the U.S. acts as the Evil Empire.

Trump talks about pink haired commies indoctrinating kids and he’s right but pink commies only present themselves as something different to the sort of idiots that are inclined to believe them. If they know that won’t work you’ll get hate. The kind of hate you won’t believe but you should.
Trump talks but why is he representing himself as something other than a loudmouth RINO? Crispy Creme Christie knows what Trump is. Everyone with a brain knows what he is.
Trump and Trump as President are the same man – the same guy he always was. Fiercely patriotic, Innocent of charges hurled against him. He is socially liberal in an old fashioned definition of “liberal.”
He can never ever be a RINO as that is who attacks him viciously. And he far, far from being the kind of Bastage RINOs are.
He’s a brilliant in business and economics. He is more common sense than conservative. He is too nice for DC.

My favorite authors are mainly British arch-conservatives, strangely enough. Maybe it is because they write in English. I ordered a French naval book from the 1700s that is supposed to be excellent, but it may be months before they get it back in stock. It is also translated into English, I hope the translator didn’t botch the job. I always wanted to understand the conservative French view but I don’t read French. From what I have seen they have a different way of looking at things.

I don’t think he’s going to win this election because you can’t just do the same stuff ad infinitum. It worked last time by some miracle but you don’t count on miracles.
The vile Dumb-o-crats’ innate narcissism, naivete and stupidity make them easy marks to be duped by malignant foreign actors, time and time again. Dumb-o-crats presidents (narcissist-incompetent, Obama, being a pre-eminent example) are perennially eager to obsequiously flatter other leaders (no matter how malign and evil), while believing that their personal charms can obtain changes in behavior/attitude. And, of course, while believing that the U.S. is to blame for a slew of fallacious and contrived grievances held by the malignant state actor.
Dotard-marionette, Biden, is no different, in this regard.
It’s pretty obvious Trump is trying to appropriate DeSantis’ platform for election purposes from what I’m getting recommended to me but the thing is Trump never made it work. This is why it’s sad. I mean this is Trump. Exactly the same with Cruz. It’s just the same. There was never any about this destination.

Oh sorry, they didn’t do it for him that would sound bad. they did it for his vision of America for which he has plausible deniability.
One thing also needs pointed out, you do not get to whine about Russia not letting in inspectors when you are arming the country they are at war with.
I joined the Army at the end of the cold war, i was in Germany when the wall came down, man what a party, so i had it driven into my head that Russia was the enemy and i trained constantly to kill Russians. So i do not have a whole lot of love for Russia*. However i really cannot blame them for doing this.
*Russia as in their government, i have met many Russian people since getting out who i would call friend.
I always differentiated between the people forced to live under communism and their government. American leftists do not. During the collapse of the soviet empire, the dems sent Mark Rich (husband of “the Energizer Bunny”) to Russia to show the paty officials how to liquidate the assets under their control and transfer the money to Swiss bank accounts. After the collapse the dems ridiculed and treated the newly freed Russians and their new leaders like dirt (After all, they rejected communism). When KGB officer putin first took over, dems were ecstatic, and suddenly started liking the Russians again.
