The original sin of the Democrats was frontloading an aggressive push on election rigging (which they and their media call, “voting rights”, while much of the country was dealing with the pandemic and the economy.
The blowback after months of Dems prioritizing a partisan agenda instead of a national one was slow to arrive, but when it did, it made it abundantly clear that the public wanted the Dems to lose their congressional majority, and had turned sharply on Biden.
Fast forward to now, and the Dems decided to drop Build Back Better and focus on pushing their same old partisan election rigging measures.
It’s a strange turn considering the spiraling inflation and the public’s demand that the Democrats do something about it. Focusing on their election rigging plans while the economy burns is politically dumb.
Except that…
The Dems are clearly betting that they’ve hit a floor. The public hates them, so why not focus on what they and their base wants. They’re not going to win honestly, so they’re going to focus on winning or at least cutting their losses by any means they can.
What do they have to lose?
