This is usually the time when an incumbent president sits back, racks up accomplishments and watches the other party shred each other to pieces during the primaries. The latter part is certainly happening but Biden’s accomplishments are even more phony than that of most incumbents so that nobody, including members of his own party, actually buy Bidenomics. And even though Biden still has no serious primary opposition, he’s blowing through a whole lot of money just to shore up his credibility.
The election is still 423 days away, and Biden and an affiliate of his chief super PAC are already running TV ads in nearly every major battleground state — far earlier than normal for a presidential election. And instead of going on the attack, as super PACs usually do, the ads are trying to boost Biden’s image…
Future Forward USA Action, an arm of the top super PAC backing Biden’s reelection bid, is spending more than $12 million on an ad campaign that began Friday in the biggest markets of six major battleground states. That puts the outside group and the campaign — which is a month into its own sustained ad campaign — on the air earlier than Trump and his allies began advertising in earnest for the 2020 election, for example.
Biden still doesn’t have any real political opponents. Newsom has sworn on a stack of autobiographies that he won’t run against him. But most Democrats would love to see someone, almost anyone, be the candidate. Not even Carter was nearly this undesired as a candidate. And so the Dems are stuck with an awkward situation in which the party leadership has unified behind Biden, but the party’s voters still don’t want him.
An incumbent blowing $12 million to convince members of his own party not to abandon him is just another sign of how bad a candidate Biden is.
RFK is their only strong candidate. The rest are wimps.
That guy is 69 yers old and have you seen his physique? He’s in great shape, although I saw him showing off lifting weights on video and I noticed they were much lower weights than I lifted as a kid. I don’t know how he bulked up lifting such puny weights.
Burnouts. He must do a lot of reps to muscle failure.
Just a sidebar comment here, but I’d be curious to know where ‘Future Forward USA Action’ and the superPACs got their money and I’d love to attach faces to these dollars. Being fully aware of the liberal donor class and their desires for national self-immolation, with Biden’s economy having an impact on every bank account and with $ billions already unaccounted for in aid to the Ukraine, it’s no longer hyperbole to suggest that the liberal laundromat is fully operational and open for business.
And although the Eco-Freaks may support Biden the polls show otherwise
