Some VPs are overlooked. I don’t think that quite describes Kamala. People are aware that she exists but overlook her because she’s a lightweight. Not just any lightweight, but a world-class lightweight who never has anything to say and never actually accomplishes anything. Even by the standards of useless veeps, she’s just remarkably useless.
Biden, who picked her because no one would possibly want her to replace him, has to pretend otherwise.
“Look, I just think that Vice President Harris hasn’t gotten the credit she deserves,” Biden said in a sit-down interview with MSNBC’s Stephanie Ruhle. “She was an attorney general in the state of California. She has been a United States senator.”
Neither position has very high standards. Just ask Senator Feinstein and Xavier Becerra.
“She is really very, very good,” Biden continued. “And with everything going on, she hasn’t gotten the attention she deserves.”
Her unpopularity, worse than Biden’s reflects the fact that she’s not obscure. Americans know who she is and they don’t like her. In a typical poll, 15% respond with “not sure” which might mean they don’t know who she is or that they have no opinion. Most respondents have an opinion and the majority of such opinions are negative.
Biden made sure she got plenty of attention (of the negative variety) by making her the public face of everything from the border crisis to abortion.
Kamala has gotten the attention she deserves. That’s her problem.
Compared to Biden, just about anybody is really good.
I would contend that she has not gotten all the scorn she deserves.
She went to that Thousand Oaks School that I drove/walked by countless times on my way to and from the UC Berkeley Campus. About the nicest public school one can imagine.
But she took a bus to school! A poor “black” child.

My sense of this person tells me she laughs and giggles all the time because she knows she’s a fraud. It’s like a secret she knows about herself – that she has no idea what she’s doing, and she’s nervous that someone is going to see through the charade. Does anyone know anything about her time as California AG? I’d bet her chief assistant did all the work while she took long lunches with Willie Brown.
with Joe in the hand in the cookie jar hot seat, she may find herself in the hot seat like fast food fries kept under heat lamps.
I recommend they don their resignation parachutes and bail out.
