If the jackboots fit, wear them.
Hours earlier at a fundraiser in Bethesda, Biden also accused Trump and his allies in the party of espousing a philosophy akin to “semi-fascism.”
After having dispatched his DOJ to raid Trump’s home, Biden would know all about fascism.
“Now need to vote to literally save democracy again,” Biden told a large crowd at the Democratic National Committee rally in Rockville, Md., just outside of Washington, D.C. “Trump and the extreme MAGA Republicans have made their choice — to go backwards full of anger, violence, hate, and division. But we’ve chosen a different path forward, the future, unity, hope and optimism.”
And nothing says unity, hope and optimism like claiming that half the country is irredeemably evil and must be suppressed.
“We choose to build a better America,” Biden said.
A better America in which truck drivers pay the student loans of Harvard Law grads, where only the rich can afford cars and no one can afford a steak.
“The MAGA Republicans don’t just threaten our personal rights and economic security. They’re a threat to our very democracy,” Biden said as he wrapped up his remarks. “They refuse to accept the will of the people. They embrace, embrace political violence. They don’t believe in democracy.”
And now let’s get back to torching pregnancy centers, Black Lives Matter riots and claiming that the Russians rigged the 2016 election.
The best way to understand leftist diatribes is as a confession of their own intentions and crimes.
“Socialist Democrats don’t just threaten our personal rights and economic security,” Biden said as he wrapped up his remarks. “They refuse to accept the will of the people. They embrace, embrace political violence.”
That seems about right.
The only question is will the next phase of defending democracy involve raids, wiretapping, entrapment, censorship or all of the above?
