By way of some context, the Biden regime knocked down its jail time request for two leftist lawyers who torched a police car with a Molotov cocktail during the Black Lives Matter race riots to 18-24 months even though there was no reason to do so.
But as part of its Jihad against pro-life protesters, the Biden regime is using the FACE Act to target pro-life protesters for actions that are technically illegal, but fall well within civil disobedience norms and don’t involve torching anything. And seeking 11 years in prison.
In early March of 2021, a group of individuals committed to saving the lives of preborn children visited the Carafem abortion facility in Mt. Juliet, Tennessee, as part of a “rescue” — an event meant to reach women seeking abortion, to persuade them to choose life for their preborn children instead. Today, October 5, 2022, that event of more than a year ago culminated in a visit from the FBI to at least one of the activist’s homes. Other individuals, who either participated or were merely present at the facility that day, were ordered to report to their local authorities to be charged under the federal FACE (Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances) Act along with charges of conspiracy.
The event in March 2021 was reportedly peaceful, with participants lining the inside hallway of a shared general medical office building which, in one area, houses the Carafem abortion facility. The rescuers who were gathered that day prayed and sang, and the event was nonviolent. Some recorded the events on video. Several participants were arrested by local police that day and were later released after posting bail for misdemeanor trespass charges.
The pro-life protesters are obviously using their choice of language, but whatever the language, this is basically a fairly typical ‘occupation’ protest which the Left routinely engages in, expecting to be arrested for trespassing and then getting a fine at most.
The Biden administration however is trying for 11 years in prison.
If convicted of the offenses, the seven conspiracy defendants each face up to a maximum of 11 years in prison, three years of supervised release and fines of up to $350,000. The remaining five defendants face a year in prison, one year of supervised release and a fine of up to $10,000.
Assistant Attorney General Kristen Clarke of the Justice Department’s Civil Rights Division and U.S. Attorney Mark H. Wildasin for the Middle District of Tennessee made the announcement.
The only person who belongs in prison in this story is Clarke, a racist who should never have been allowed anywhere near the DOJ.
We live in a country where Democrats have decided to set violent thugs free after they commit the most hideous and ugliest offenses. Not even bail. Just walk on out the door. And that same system is throwing the book at people whose politics it disagrees with.
As I mention in an upcoming article, the FBI has yet to make a single arrest in any of the dozens of Jane’s Revenge attacks on pregnancy centers after a domestic terrorist campaign going on for months. But it’s proposing 11-year prison sentences for civil disobedience.
Biden came to power promising a restoration of political norms. These are the political norms of Russia and China.

Yet, not surprisingly, the FBI apparently is not interested in solving the arson of two Post Offices in Minneapolis in May, 2020- they have merely offered a reward. No apparent pinging of cellphones in the area, asking phone companies for records, asking for citizens for their cellphone videos, unlike what was done in DC on Jan 6.
