Soros DAs don’t just spend all of their time refusing to prosecute ordinary criminals. Give them a higher status and they’ll show you how they can undermine America.
You may remember this guy.
A Massachusetts Institute of Technology professor was arrested and charged Thursday with hiding work he did for the Chinese government while he was also receiving U.S. dollars for his nanotechnology research.
While working for MIT, Chen entered into undisclosed contracts and held appointments affiliated with the People’s Republic of China, including as an ‘overseas expert’ for the Chinese government at the request of the PRC Consulate Office in New York, authorities said. Many of those roles were ‘expressly intended to further the PRC´s scientific and technological goals,’ authorities in court documents.
Chen did not disclose his connections to China as is required on federal grant applications, authorities said. He and his research group collected about $29 million in foreign dollars, including millions from a Chinese government funded university funded, while getting $19 million in grants from U.S federal agencies for his work at MIT since 2013, authorities said
‘It is not illegal to collaborate with foreign researchers. It is illegal to lie about it,’ Massachusetts U.S. Attorney Andrew Lelling told reporters.
Biden however nominated and put into place one of the worst Soros DAs in the nation.
Rachael Rollins tweeted, “We are being murdered at will by the police” and “No more words, demand action. Radical change now.”
When Boston cops objected to her “reckless statements labeling all police officers ‘ murderers”, Rollins responded with a racist taunt, tweeting, “White fragility is real people”.
As BLM riots devastated cities, the DA sneered, ” It is completely ironic to have to say to you, ‘Please don’t be violent. Please keep your voice down. Please be silent and comply with all of the police’s requirements,’ when in fact it’s those very people that murder us with impunity.”
Communist China approves.
The Justice Department dropped its case Thursday against a Massachusetts Institute of Technology professor charged last year with concealing research ties to the Chinese government, saying it could no longer meet its burden of proof at trial.
The department revealed its decision in the case against Gang Chen in a terse, single-page filing in federal court in Boston.
U.S. Attorney Rachael Rollins, the top federal prosecutor in the state, said the move was “in the interests of justice” and was the result of new information the government had received about the allegations.
Communist China can thank Biden for this one.
