Let’s suppose for a moment that you are running for president and your chief rival just got indicted.
What should your response be?
- A series of viral ads
- A taunting press conference
- Silence
Normally presidential candidates cash in on the missteps of their opponents. Some of Trump’s GOP rivals may be nervous about going that route, but there isn’t a single reason in the world for Biden not to. He’s certainly not worried that Trump supporters won’t vote for him. And yet there’s a suspicious silence.
President Joe Biden and his top aides have taken a vow of silence on the federal indictment of his predecessor, Donald Trump — and have explicitly ordered the national Democratic Party and his reelection campaign to do the same.
Why do that? According to Team Biden… to avoid any suspicions.
Biden to this point has been explicit: The entities that the White House controls, which includes the reelection campaign and the Democratic National Committee, are not to publicly discuss any of the criminal investigations into Trump. Those closest to the president are deeply wary of any perception that Biden is trying to influence the investigations.
“I have never once — not one single time — suggested to the Justice Department what they should do or not do, relative to bringing a charge or not bringing a charge,” Biden told reporters Thursday. “I’m honest.”
Honest people don’t need to say that they’re honest.
Biden’s avoidance here doesn’t smack of honesty or some imaginary propriety (this is the guy who gave a speech backed by Marines warning that his political opponents were a threat to democracy), but a criminal wary of returning to the scene of the crime.
Guilty people spend much more time trying to get into the headspace of an innocent person than vice versa. They try to imagine what an innocent person would do when confronted with the scene of a crime. They feign too much shock or they talk too much or, if they listen to their lawyers (if they’re not idiots), they shut up.
And Biden, once upon a time, was a lawyer. Not a very good one, but enough to grasp the basics.
Biden’s silence is suspicious because it’s not normal behavior. By staying silent, Biden isn’t demonstrating his detachment, but his avoidance. At a time when his faction is celebrating, he’s laying low because he’s not the innocent bystander, he’s the criminal.
He took no part in it past initial the initial staffing.
This is what happens when the right men are put on the job from the start.
Good seasoned men, who can handle direct deposit without misplacing their laptops. You know. Pros.
Donald Trump says he is “the most honest human being ever created.”

I thought he was.
Then along came you.
Good point, guilty people act innocent, but they overdo the act. Quite a tell.
Yeah, lying sons of bitches. You can spot the really bad ones but the clever ones are hard to detect. They can really F you.
Dementia Joe is an obvious retard, however. His lies are crude and obvious.
Wow are you angry at Joe Biden
Retard
Crude
Lies
Sons of bitches
Has dementia
Says a lot about your character
As with everything else he says, Biden is being disingenuous or simply dishonest. In early April 2022, according to the NYT, Biden told close associates that he was frustrated over Garland’s lack of action, that he believed former President Donald Trump was a threat to democracy and that he wanted Attorney General Merrick Garland’s DOJ to prosecute him, Although the Times reported that Biden had not asked the attorney general to pursue an indictment against Trump he did say that he wanted “Mr. Garland to act less like a ponderous judge and more like a prosecutor who is willing to take decisive action over the events of Jan. 6,” I don’t know. Sounds like a “Will nobody rid me of this troublesome priest” moment to me.
Biden “told close associates” – but you never mention who. Someone told me Kasandra makes things up. But I’m not going to tell you who.
As Per Usual,Daniel Greenfield has”NAILED IT”!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Trump can trumpet his vaccine if he wants. Mostly not so much now but weather is always changeable.
But your Trump TDS is always constant and unchanging. Get a new grift.
It’s like Reagan as a life guard would understand but Trump never would or could. If you’re in you’re all the way in. There’s no half way position. You’re relinquishing control of your life for somebody you don’t even know.
That’s why good lifeguards generally despise panic. It might not be the most generous position but it is necessary.
It’s psychologically necessary and that is what all of this ultimately comes down to.
Just take a moment to consider the potential hubris in this statement if course for one crazy moment some might have even thought Big Guy sounded slightly bored after close to a decade of “endless” campaigning.
Maybe 20 years ago Biden might have said something inane but right now Biden doesn’t need to say much because at the end of the day Trump and McCarthy are coming back to Uniparty party they got started. It’s all they know. Getting it done. Forget Calvin Coolidge.
“It is a great advantage to a President, and a major source of safety to the country, for him to know that he is not a great man.”
Will you shut up?
Up voted. Thank you. Another jealous Brit who knows nothing about Trump or this country.
Don’t wanna hear what doesn’t fit your narrative, eh?
Describe this purported narrative.
Does anyone really believe Biden is honest? If you do – you’re a fool.
According to you, I’m a fool. But you haven’t mentioned whether or not Trump is honest.
According to you, you are a fool.
You don’t kick someone when they’re down. Biden’s silence is him being a gentleman about it and allowing DJT to dig his own grave.
Biden is a caught thief.
I expect resignation. Decency suggests suicide. No one is accusing Biden of decency.
Your commentary is 100% cheap shots. You are an idiot.
