Bill Clinton already wrote and sold his memoir, the imaginatively named, My Life, written and published back in 2005, but like his wife, one memoir is never enough and so Bill has another one, Citizen, that chronicles all the exciting stuff he’s been up to for the last two decades.
Hillary Clinton is on her fourth memoir (believe it or not) and Bill needs to pull his weight here. The trouble is that while Bill’s memoir 1.0 was at least justified because he was the president of the United States, he hasn’t done anything since then, unlike Hillary, who really didn’t do much, but at least is out there making a lot of noise.
So what does Bill have to say?
He couldn’t sleep for two years after Hillary Clinton lost and still blames Russia, the New York Times and Comey.
‘The whole thing is hard for me to write,’ he says in Citizen – My Life After The White House. ‘I couldn’t sleep for two years after the election. I was so angry, I wasn’t fit to be around.
‘I apologize to all those who endured my outbursts of rage, which lasted for years and bothered or bored people who thought it pointless to rehash things that couldn’t be changed.’
‘If so, Putin’s enablers were Comey and the political press.’
And denies that he knew anything about Jeffrey Epstein’s crimes.
‘The bottom line is, even though it allowed me to visit the work of my foundation, traveling on Epstein’s plane was not worth the years of questioning afterward. I wish I had never met him.’
Clinton adds: ‘I had always thought Epstein was odd but had no inkling of the crimes he was committing.
‘He hurt a lot of people, but I knew nothing about it, and by the time he was first arrested in 2005, I had stopped contact with him. I’ve never visited his island.’
No inkling. No idea that man was having relations with those girls.
Also no inkling about the Marc Rich pardon.
“I wish Denise hadn’t written to me, for her sake and mine. I knew she had made plenty of money on her own, did not get along with her ex-husband, and didn’t know he would apply for a pardon when she gave money to the library fund.”
So why did Bill Clinton grant a pardon to a fugitive?
A memoir that amounts to “I knew nothing” isn’t much of a memoir, but it seems to be all that Bill knows how to do even if no one believes him anymore.
Forget Citizen, Denial would have been a better memoir title.

Pathological liar. He may sound believable, but there are eyewitnesses who say they saw him on the island.
Someone set fire to the place and probably cleaned out the evidence. Probably multiple intelligence agencies were involved, and there had been tapes made of the various encounters with the girls.
I’m sure they’ve all been paid off. He’s such a scumbag.

Of course Slick Willie is lying. He lies about everything, all the time. But Hillary! is considering (yet) another run for the White House, and if Communist Dingbat Kamala need $1.5 billion to lose, the Hildebeest is gonna need a lot more than that to properly lipstick that pig, and Bubba knows there’s enough stupid and/or bought-and-paid people to raise at least a couple hundred million for the cause.
I’ve been wondering if the portrait of Bill in a blue dress and high heels refers only to Lewinsky or if it is stating Bill is a follower of Epstein. I think he protests too much in his new book.

Given that Australian diplomatic staff going on postings to DC and NYC were being warned off Epstein in their security briefings while Slick Willy was in the Oval Office, how the fuck wasn’t he warned off?
I saw copies of those briefings in 1996 and Epstein was already on the “if you see him run the other direction” list.
That’s an excellent point to take into account when figuring the probabilities.
If that list of those who went to Epstein Island is released, its going to be curtains for many who have tried to keep the sexual abuse of young girls quiet.
That list is a more guarded secret that the Manhattan Project was. You get near that list, you’re going to die.

Lying and denying blame are Gimmedat traits from LBJ to today, just in my lifetime.
When someone would rather climb up on the roof to tell a lie than stand on the porch to tell the truth, you know he is wired up wrong. That’s what got Clinton disbarred.
I guess it all depends on what the definition of “his” is…
