Blitz: A Poem

First, the title. It’s called Blitz:
How Trump Will Smash the Left and Win.
The author: David Horowitz.

America was on the fritz.
Eight years of oikophobic spin
by smug blue-state sophisticates

Concluded in conniption fits
when Florida flipped and Trump came in,
and looked around, and flexed his wits,

and proved them all a gang of twits.
Iran deal? To the rubbish bin.
The Paris pact? Smashed all to bits.

He backed up Bibi, hailed the Brits
for Brexit, had a big jobs win
(till COVID made him call it quits).

To list all of his Greatest Hits
would take a twenty-gallon bin
of ink. So let’s just say that it’s

been like a long stay at the Ritz
after Obama’s Red Roof Inn.
Campaign, then! Vote! And pick up Blitz
