On the surface this is one of those moments where radical activists can get Dems to embrace any insane policy as long as they cry, “Racism”.

Biden’s pledge came as a response to a question from an audience member at the MSNBC Public Education Forum.

“Given that standardized testing is rooted in a history of racism and eugenics,” the audience member asked, “if you are elected president, will you commit to ending the use of standardized testing in public schools?”

“Yes,” Biden responded. “As one of my friends and black pastors I spend a lot of time with . . . would say, you’re preaching to the choir, kid.”

Sure.

Dump actual tests. Let teachers’ union hacks promote the hell out of students who don’t know anything. That’s going to be good for nobody. 

Except, again, teachers’ union hacks who don’t want to work and won’t have to. They can just run The Color Purple on an endless reel in every class and claim that the students are learning from the lived experiences of social justice.

Meanwhile the price will be paid by black students who won’t learn anything. Meanwhile white upper class parents will make sure their kids know their stuff.

But, on the other hand, why is the MSNBC crazy preaching to the Biden choir which has produced such notable talents as Joe and Hunter?

Sen. Joe Biden claimed during a campaign appearance in New Hampshire last spring that he finished in the top half of his law school class, although records indicate he finished near the bottom.

On the videotape, a clearly angered Biden told the questioner: ″I think I probably have a much higher IQ than you do.

″The first year in law school I decided I didn’t want to be in law school and ended up in the bottom two-thirds of my class and then decided I wanted to stay and went back to law school and in fact ended up in the top half of my class,″ he went on.

But last week Biden released his law school records showing he had graduated 76th in a law school class of 85. The law school transcript also showed he made little progress in class standing through the three-year course, ranking 80 out of 100 in the first semester of the first year, and 79th out of 87 the second semester of his second year.

At least Biden made progress in lying. Which served him well in his new career.

But we are talking about a C student going to war against standardized testing.

He further claimed that he had earned “three degrees.” In reality, Biden earned a B.A. with a double major (History and Political Science) from the University of Delaware in June 1965.  He was ranked 506 out of a class of 688 students.

As the Washington Post reported on Sept. 22, 1987, Biden’s “undergraduate academic records show that he graduated from Delaware 506th in a class of 688 with a ‘C’ average and that he got his undergraduate degree with a dual major in history and political science.”

Also he plagiarized a paper. 

But everyone knows that rules against plagiarism are rooted in eugenics and racism. And best gotten rid of.

Finally, America can look forward to a C student president abolishing standardized testing while claiming that he has a high IQ and isn’t bald.
