Once, a CAIR executive saw a ham sandwich and immediately accused it of, “Islamophobia”.
The original Aladdin cartoon was accused of Islamophobia. No matter how Disney bent over backward for the ill-fated and unnecessary live action cash, the shouts of “Islamophobia” were inevitable.
CAIR’s bid though is particularly stupid.
“The Aladdin myth is rooted by racism, Orientalism and Islamophobia,” CAIR Executive Director Nihad Awad said in a statement. “To release it during the Trump era of rapidly rising anti-Muslim, anti-immigrant and racist animus only serves to normalize stereotyping and to marginalize minority communities.”
The combination of Trump and Aladdin will bring down ISIS for good.
In a statement, CAIR National Executive Director Nihad Awad said:
“The Aladdin myth is rooted by racism, Orientalism and Islamophobia. To release it during the Trump era of rapidly rising anti-Muslim, anti-immigrant and racist animus only serves to normalize stereotyping and to marginalize minority communities.
The Aladdin myth comes out from a Syrian writer. How can a Syrian Middle Eastern writer be accused of Islamophobia? He was a Christian.
Aladdin has nothing to do with Islam. That’s the real problem for the Muslim Brotherhood.
It wants to make certain that any middle eastern story revolves around Islam.
