Incoming Mayor Brandon Johnson would warn us against demonizing these thugs, urging us to remember that they don’t have anything better to do with their time because of systemic racism. And anyone who tried to resist them, if they didn’t get shot, would face the same BLM lynch mob as the brave former Marine who stood up to subway monster Jordan Neely. The cops don’t want to deal with it, so barring Batman or Paul Kersey, this is just the new normal of increasingly aggressive criminals who know there’s no justice system anymore.
Pro-crime policies work. Here they are in action.
Chicago police are looking for four robbers who were extremely busy on Mother’s Day, targeting 10 people in just 30 minutes.
Police said the robbers hopped out of a gray Hyundai Elantra wearing black hooded sweatshirts and black ski masks. They targeted people on sidewalks or who are parking vehicles, threaten them with semi-automatic weapons, take their stuff and take off.

Chicago, or at least its ballot harvesters and the Cook County Cemetery Voters Association voted for this. Brandon Johnson will take office on his bold “crime is the fault of lack of opportunity for the criminals” programs. More money will be dumped into social services and the teachers’ union will drink some more taxpayer blood. And crime will skyrocket which will be blamed on systemic racism and a lack of opportunity.
Meanwhile, the boys will play some more. And who can blame them? Law enforcement and morality have collapsed. The only ethos that still exists is ‘get some’ and they’re getting some.

I kinda re-thought this one.
One should give their best effort in their profession. These young people should be commended for the ambition it took to rob so many in such little time.
Of what importance is the “semiautomatic” feature of the firearms used to rob victims? If the thieves had been armed with pump shotguns and revolvers, would the victims have been in less danger?
What we say matters. Two military age males who threaten most people are likely to succeed in robbing them, even if unarmed. And the danger faced by the average victim in such a circumstance would be no less real.

As lawyer and former NRA spokesman Colion Noir used to quip, “Black Guns Matter.” When most people hear about “semi-auto” or “military style” or just any firearm that’s black, they freak out. The nice, friendly-looking Winchester Model 94 lever rifles and carbines were introduced in, obviously, 1894, and they were the fastest firing arms of their day. John Waye was filmed with this iconic long gun in many of his Western movies (often engaging in fancy moves that nobody who values their rifle would do). They are still extremely rapid fire in the hands of someone who is used to them, and while they obviously would not touch the performance of an AR, I would not want to have to dodge bullets fired from one.
And since most murders are committed with either common household tools or hands and feet, I would not want to engage your two hypothetical military age men (assuming that they were fit enough for military service) if they were unarmed either. Unless I myself was well armed!

That’ll be the day! They have busy schedules, working out at the gym and then robbing people. How can they possibly handle more work?
