Due process, like free speech and civil rights, is one of those horrifying offenses against social justice that must be ruthlessly punished.
The city manager for Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, has been fired following his stated support of “due process” for a police officer involved in a fatal shooting of a black man on Sunday.
Mayor Mike Elliott announced on Twitter on Monday evening that Curt Boganey had been “relieved of his duties.” The mayor did not provide any reason for the firing.
“All employees working for the city of Brooklyn Center are entitled to due process with respect to discipline,” he said. “This employee will receive due process, and that’s really all that I can say today,” Boganey said at a press conference.
By the way, since that’s all that any lefty seems to care about anymore, Boganey is African-American.
Due process, like any civil right, has been deemed to be systemically racist. Or as Farrakhan fangirl Chelsea Handler tweeted, “So pathetic that there is a trial to prove that Derek Chauvin killed George Floyd when there is video of him doing so,”
Eliminating due process has become the new BLM.
