Between Linda Sarsour, John Cusack, Ilhan Omar, Rashida Tlaib, and all the others, you would think that the Sandernistas would have all the anti-Semitic supporters and surrogates they could handle.
But, nope.
Maria Estrada is back. She made headlines for being an explicitly anti-Semitic candidate backed by the DSA and the Sanders camp.
On the other side of the country, DSA-LA continues to back Maria Estrada for California State Assembly District 63 despite her praise for Farrakhan, accusations that Jews were exploiting the Holocaust, and attacking a Jewish Democrat for not keeping “your party, your religion and your people in check.”
“Anyone who believes they are one of ‘God’s chosen people’ automatically feels superior and justified in all they do,” Estrada ranted.
Estrada’s racism was criticized by the Simon Wiesenthal Center, reported on in numerous Jewish publications, and yet the DSA and Bernie Sanders’ Our Revolution, refused to withdraw their support. When contacted about her hateful views, both the local and national DSA, as well as the local and national Our Revolution organizations, failed to condemn Estrada.
And, like Sarsour and other Bernie supporters, she’s a fan of Farrakhan.
However, on October 6, 2017 she claimed non-Jews could not be Zionists without being influenced by Jewish friends or loved ones. In this same exchange, she commented that she “enjoys listening to Farrakhan’s sermons”
Estrada is not only running again, but she’s getting the cops called on her for pulling Antifa type stuff in Nevada.
The night before the Nevada caucuses, the chairman of the state’s Democratic Party called police after several supporters of Bernie Sanders gathered outside his home at 11 p.m. with a bullhorn to issue a warning about the next day’s election.
“I want assurances that there isn’t going to be any shenanigans going on tomorrow. The Democratic Party does not control what happens,” Maria Estrada, a self-described “Berner” from Los Angeles, said into the bullhorn, according to a Facebook Live video she streamed on her personal page. She repeatedly said she didn’t want to see a repeat of the 2016 election, which she insinuated was rigged against Sanders.
At least three other times in recent days, Estrada led a group of Sanders supporters who gathered late at night outside the homes of Democratic Party officials and California lawmakers, including those of Secretary of State Alex Padilla and state Democratic Party Chairman Rusty Hicks. Police were called at least twice.
The Politico story, as usual, protects Bernie, and fails to mention Maria Estrada’s history of anti-Semitism.
DSA-LA once again endorses the hateful racist.
She’s also endorsed by American Democrats for Social Action. And by Progressive California, which touts her as a real progressive.
Real progressives, according to ADSA, are Jew haters.
