In the grim joke that is the 2020 Democrat primaries, the race for the Boston Bomber vote is on.
After Senator Bernie Sanders vowed to let prisoners vote from prison, Senator Cory Booker argued that Sanders was just pandering to the prisoners. Spartacus won’t need to let them vote from prison. Not when he’s gonna round ’em up and set ’em all loose.
Sen. Cory Booker on Monday called out Sen. Bernie Sanders over his support for restoring voting rights to convicted felons still serving prison time, drawing a rare explicit contrast with one of his 2020 rivals.
In an interview with PBS Newshour, Booker called the debate over voting rights for incarcerated felons “frustrating” and suggested it distracts from the larger, more urgent question of mass incarceration, which has been a policy focus of Booker’s campaign. “So, if Bernie Sanders wants to get involved in a conversation about whether Dylann Roof and the (Boston) Marathon bomber should have the right to vote, my focus is liberating black and brown people and low-income people from prison,” Booker said.
The New Jersey Democrat added: “My focus is tearing down the system of mass incarceration, so that we don’t even have to have the debate about people’s voting rights, because they’re not going to prison in the first place.”
So no more “low-income” people or minorities in prison. Just white people and chechens. Who won’t be allowed to vote in prison. Even though I’m pretty sure the Boston Bomber would vote Democrat. Roof seems more like a Jill Stein/Ron Paul guy.
Now that criminals (I’m sorry, undocumented forcible violators) are the new illegal aliens (undocumented citizens), how long until Bernie Sanders appoints the Boston Bomber as his press secretary, and the next Democrat nominee in 2024 is a serial rapist?
