Set aside this nonsense, what is invisible during the “Transgender Day of Visibility”?

1 out of every 30. Mindblowing number.
But why talk about that when we can instead talk about the “Transgender Day of Visibility”? And that way the horrendous crime rates will be invisible.

But were any of them transgender? And by that I mean the air horns.
In-N-Out is permanently closing one of its restaurants for the first time ever, saying that its Oakland location will soon shutter because of car break-ins, property damage, theft, and armed robberies targeting employees and customers. Denny’s is shuttering its only location in Oakland after more than 54 years, citing public safety concerns.
Kaiser Permenente said a number of its employees working in its downtown Oakland offices were victims of armed robberies, vehicle theft and other crimes in the latter part of 2023. Kaiser reportedly issued a memo to employees recommending that staff stay in buildings for lunch.
And Clorox said it hired uniformed security guards to chaperone employees to the office from public transit stations, parking garages, restaurants and coffee shops.
No, no. Don’t look there, it’s the transgender day of visibility! Or any other culture war nonsense leftists can pull out of their hats. Don’t look at the utter state of misery that leftist policies result in, look at the exciting new victims who have just arrived.

Oakland had Shot Spotter but the police didn’t know how to use it and the Mayor & such didn’t support it so it was wasted. In contrast, in my former city the police handled Shot Spotter expertly, and got police response times to shootings to under a minute, in time to save the lives of victims who had been shot.
Generally the local city police can handle the crime problems if they have political support from the Mayor. So bringing in CHP isn’t necessary, and the city police generally don’t like bringing in another police organization to their jurisdiction.
Car theft is a big problem, as cars parked out in the street can be stolen in a minute or so. The illegal immigrant car thieves are very bold, hostile and aggressive. I ran into one once, by accident, who was in the process of stealing a neighbor’s car. He gave me the dirtiest, hostile look imaginable, but fortunately didn’t attack me, instead walking off at top speed in the other direction.
How can shot spotter not be understood at the policing level? Sound of gunfire – go to place of sound quickly. Save lives, arrest perps – how is this a bad plan?

Chicago had Shot Spotter or a similar system but is cancelling it’s use because it kept directing police to largely black neighborhood. I guess the other solution, arrest, try, and imprison the shooters, is beyond their ability to even consider. What a clown show.
Chicago shut their shot spotter system down too. Their crime rate will drop a lot now, smh.
