When I showed up to speak at the American Freedom Alliance Literary Cafe, it was right after the Trump assassination. People were still feeling the shock of what had happened and my talk, which would have been primarily about my book,’Domestic Enemies: The Founding Fathers’ Fight Against The Left‘
Domestic Enemies is about the origins of the American Left, but the conversation certainly took a wide-ranging turn from Trump’s assassination to the Left’s war on America, past, present and, unless we do something more concrete, future.

Greeny! Are you going gray? Are there no youngsters left on the right? Or the moderate majority, which is a more accurate description than “right” but you know what I mean. Ordinary conservatives.
Why do we have to get old? I had a 41 year old chick come by last night and she seems young to me. That’s how old I am!
I liked your presentation. Good suit and tie, too. Most guys can’t pick the right tie to save their lives. And your shirt has real cuffs. Kudos.
Jeff Bargholz says
But I won’t mention your your shoes. Seriously. Do something about that.
Hund Bond says
Stop calling Mr. Greenfield “Greeny”. You sound like a drunk. And you probably are.
Jeff Bargholz says
What’s wrong with being drunk, you snob? And calling Danny Boy “Greeny” is a sign of affection. Like Chet said, “I do it out of love.”

The Revolution was fought on what became American soil. It was in every future American’s back yard. The necessity of choosing a side was unavoidable: Independence or Tyranny.
The Democrat party’s policies make me feel that America is being ruled by a foreign regime. How many Americans actually feel that the entire Democratic Party, led by the left, is pushing America towards tyranny?
How many Americans who vote feel this in their back yard?
I am also realizing that Democrats label Republicans as extremists. They repeat a lot of cue words and lies to create that effect, but never really define specifics or context. I think this is a psychological strategy to let each voter actually ‘define‘ (with subliminal prompts) what’s extreme in his/her own mind. America, the ‘sleeping giant’ doesn’t like ‘extremism’; and the Democrats know this; so they neutralize their extremism with other cue words and lies and expect Americans to vote them in, which is exactly what’s been happening and may very well happen again.
In God We Trust.

Dear Mr. Greenfield,
You are brilliant and I love you! But I am very worried because you are so thin.
I learned from Ernest Becker and Norman Brown that we are two beings: Spiritual and physical.
You excel in the spiritual, Mr. Greenfield. But you must not neglect your physical side. You are simply too thin!
You should keep on doing what you are called to do, but please don’t forget yourself!
And I warn you: if you don’t gain weight, I’ll turn to your wife and your mom to give you chicken soup every day.
I really love you, Mr. Greenfield, and thank you for your sacrificial work. But please don’t sacrifice yourself.
Jeff Bargholz says
He is pretty thin.
Work on that, Greeny. Push-ups are easy and you can use standard household items to curl. And any weight on your shoulders will help you build leg strength with squats.
That reminds me, I should get off my ass.
