Daniel Segal is a Professor of Psychology at Pitzer College in Pomona, CA, where he has a record of engaging in antisemitic and anti-Israel activity.
In November 2018, Segal spearheaded an effort to have Pitzer suspend its study abroad program with the University of Haifa in Israel. He was supported by former “Antisemite of the Week” Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib (pictured below with Segal), but thankfully, his efforts failed.
Segal is known to partner with and support several problematic groups such as Open Hillel, an organization that’s criticized for its antisemitic bias and bigotry. He also frequently tweets his support of the antisemitic Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement and is an advisory member of Anthropologists for the Boycott of Israeli Academic Institutions. For example, in May of 2021, Segal tweeted: “Self-respecting Jews are anti-Zionists, bc Zionism is settler colonialism, ethnic cleansing and apartheid–and racist. Self-respecting Jews aren’t racist. They support Palestinian freedom. & #BDS.” Segal atrociously considers fellow Jews who consider themselves Zionists as colonizers and perpetrators of genocide and apartheid.
Minimizing the atrocities of the Holocaust, Segal has grossly appropriated the slogan, “never again,” nearly 50 times between January 2019 and June 2022, in a malicious attempt to draw a comparison between Israel and Nazi Germany. For example, on:
-
June 24, 2021, Segal tweeted: “2/2 self-respecting Jews know ‘never again’ means never again to anyone. Hillel Intl is now a pro-Israeli apartheid and anti-Palestinian organization that deserves no institutional support on any college campus anywhere.”
-
September 15, 2021, Segal tweeted: “To all observing, may this be the Yom Kippur when we seek atonement for the sins done in our Jewish name by the Israeli apartheid state: it’s denial of freedom to Palestinians. ‘Never again’ must mean to any human being or it too is wickedness. #YomKippur2021 #GmarChatimaTova.”
-
November 13, 2021, Segal tweeted: “As a Jew, I am obligated to support #BDS, because ‘never again’ means for any of us. Seeking security for a people by attaching it to a state, a militarized state, is evil: we know the consequences. #PalestinianFreedom.”
- January 25, 2021, Segal tweeted: “How dishonest & evil a person are you willing to be? Never again means never again for any human being: you betray the memory of the Holocaust.” Segal was responding to a tweet defending Israel’s vaccine distribution during the coronavirus pandemic. Despite Segal’s claims, All of Israel’s citizens, including Arabs, were provided equal and free access to a coronavirus vaccine. Palestinian leaders rejected the initial delivery of the vaccine stating false expiration dates were the factor.
How dishonest & evil a person are you willing to be. Never again means never again for any human being: you betray the memory of the Holocaust.

Segal is also an open supporter of convicted Palestinian terrorists such as Leila Khaled, a leading member of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) who participated in the hijacking of an aircraft. Khaled has said that the second intifada failed because it was not violent enough, advocated for the use of children in committing terrorist acts, and compared Zionists to Nazis.
Equating Israel with Nazi Germany and comparing Israel to apartheid are blatant examples of Jew-hatred according to the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA) working definition of antisemitism. Segal fiercely rejects the IHRA’s definition of antisemitism for these reasons.
Pitzer College’s Jewish students deserve to feel safe on campus, free from antisemitic bigots like Daniel Segal. StopAntisemitism needs YOUR help! Email Interim President Jill Klein and demand Pitzer College look into Professor Daniel Segal’s antisemitic history.
Hamas could have purchased the Pfizer injections for their own people if they wanted.
They didn’t because they knew they were dangerous, and they were probably celebrating the fact that Israel was stupid enough to pressure its people into being injected.
The muslims were granted religious exemption in the UK no other group were.
This is what a self hating Jew looks and sounds like
Yes, he is a very sick & evil piece of shit & a liar. He should be dismissed as, not fit for purpose. He needs to be flushed down the toilet, that will get rid of the foul stink.
You’re correct, of course, especially in this case. Still, the phenomenon of the “self-hating jew” needs closer examination. Sometimes a self-hating Jew is just someone who won’t reflexively circle ethnic wagons when something Israel or Jews ( or just an individual Jew) do really is wrong.
Segal thinks he is safe sucking up to the Muslims. What he doesn’t realize is that, as Churchill used say, the alligator will eat him last.
Segal should be sent to Syria so he can become an ISIS Bride
He is a lowlife scumbag an inhuman punk
Self-hating Jews are a particular problem because they always can say, “But I’m Jewish!” Daniel Segal shouldn’t get a free pass.
Let’s not forget that many Anti-Semites have been self-hating jews
I think the concept of a so called self hating Jew is somewhat trite and does not in fact address the real issue, which is far more complex. These Jews are afraid to acknowledge who they are. Jews who have no roots, background or education on Jewish issues simply do not understand one basic fact. It is this: the criticism of all things Jewish will not save them from persecution should it occur in their sphere. Hatred doesn’t discriminate between a proud Jew and one who is afraid to acknowledge his heritage. This is a major failing in the US where Jews cling to liberal thought as an ideology and in an effort to “blend in” . We are different, but too many of us are trying far too hard not to be different. They will lose. Far better to stand up and acknowledge our identity and heritage with all the pride we should have in ourselves.
I agree with what you had to say but this video will shed more light on the matter.
