It’s funny just how insanely wealthy our “public servants” are. This is the kind of thing you expect from European royalty, not former American government officials. But how much of a difference is there really?
Jewelry, political mementos and a “stunning collection of American art” once belonging to Sen. Dianne Feinstein are hitting the auction block.
The “Legacy of a Stateswoman” auction from Bonhams, happening Oct. 8 in Los Angeles, will include some of the California Democrat’s most beloved — and glitzy — personal items.
“Legacy of a Stateswoman”. How classy. The legacies of elected officials were supposed to be their deeds. In Feinstein’s case, the legacy was clinging to power and a $65,000 diamond ring.
Among the more than 70 baubles and jewels up for auction is a “dazzling 4.14 carat diamond ring flanked by tapered baguette diamonds,” which is expected to fetch as much as $65,000.
“Baubles“. That’s some bauble.
The items include diamond and emerald jewelry, artwork from the glassblower Dale Chihuly and the 15th century Italian painter Neri Di Bicci, and signed books and documents from famous Democrats, including several presidents.
The jewelry included in the Oct. 8 sale includes a 4.14-carat diamond ring flanked by tapered baguette diamonds (estimate: $45,000 to $65,000) and a necklace with a reeflike cluster of freshwater pearls, designed for Tiffany & Co. by the daughter of Pablo Picasso (estimate: $1,500 to $2,500), which Feinstein wore at the opening session of the 2000 Democratic National Convention.
The auction house sold 42 works from the couple’s extensive collection of Himalayan art earlier this year. The works spanned 800 years of history and were collectively valued at more than $3 million.
The legacy of American taxpayers is currently a ruling elite whose voraciousness and self-seeking know no limits.

Why else would lawyers who specialize in writing wills go into politics?

She destroyed her historical reputation by her actions near the end of life, such as promoting the phony witness who testified against Brett Kavanaugh during the Supreme Court hearings.

I think you forget her term as mayor of S.F, where on one occasion she blabbed details of the Night Salker’s M.O when he’d moved his operations to the San Francisco area. Then there was the 50th birthday of the Golden Gate bridge where she invited all the bay area to come to the bridge or a party. Had it not been for the bad weather, a quarter million bay area residents on the bridge, not meant for such dense load in places, might have dumped a quarter million in the Golden gate.
The woman was a menace.

feinstein taught them all how to serve red china, banksters, and criminals on wall street and still staged herself as a ‘populist’ liberal, and get rich doing it. toss in the usual inside trading as well.
as ralph nader quipped, feinstein was a closet repubilcan and so much worse.
she, and her croneis, which included the criminal enterprises P.G.&E,WELLS FARGO and BANK OF LOOTING did nicely with Feinstein in the senate. Her push for the banksters’ bankruptcy ‘reform’ bill (along with joe biden) to protect the banks from having their toxic and fraudulent mortgages cancelled, was and is devastating to middle america.
this is a woman who couldn’t wait to lay on mao’s bed in red china. seriously! she even claimed she was chinese in another life… well, the smell of dirty money can make one loopy apparently.
glad she’s dead. can’t wait until the rest of the democrat ruling class is at her side in hell!

Another example is Elizabeth Warren, the rich commie. An avowed socialist’s commie who yet, has somehow amassed a net worth of over 12 million. (and probably more hidden from view. )……Fascinating…..

DiFi’s final husband, Richard Blum, was an equity investment gazillionaire whose firms benefitted greatly from the family’s “public service”…well, you know how these things go, old chap, don’t you? Very convenient.

Yeah! Republicans don’t own diamonds! Only the voracious ruling elites do! I bet there isn’t a single diamond in Daniel Greenfield’s house. He’s too moral and upstanding for that.
Atikva says
Mr. Greenfield is not a politician, therefore your analogy is irrelevant. According to Wikipedia, Senator Feinstein “was ranked the fifth-wealthiest senator, with an estimated net worth of $26 million.” Let’s not even evoke Mr. Obama’s wealth.. A far cry from the time when members of Senate and House received no salaries, only a perdiem during the time when Congress was in session, and couldn’t depend on their political functions to build their own wealth.
Incidentally, Donald Trump is one of the few US Presidents who gave away their presidential salaries.

65,000 for a RING!
All those homeless and starving around California and yet this hypocrite….
BTW, Mr’s “FEINSTEIN” also gave away most of California’s water rights to the “RESNICKS” who grow almonds. First it was pomegranates, which the novelty wore off, now it is almonds.
So you have a crop that takes more water than what you actually consume in product.
Then you have to come up with Almond uses like Almond milk which is nothing but almonds and water shoved through a sieve.
Either way, you get the point. BTW Steven “SPEILBERG” runs Hollywood along with his cronies. A pattern?

Everything should be confiscated to pay back the USA for all the DAMAGE she caused!

If she was a stateswoman, I am America’s first astronaut.

Now that’s rich (no pun intended). Her classmates from DC going to attend the auction?
