Remember when President Trump was guilty of violating political norms and lacking in civility?

Rep. Eric Swalwell, a Democrat allegedly flirting with a 2020 run, had the following exchange on Twitter.

And it would be a short war my friend. The government has nukes. Too many of them. But they’re legit. I’m sure if we talked we could find common ground to protect our families and communities.

It goes without saying that if Trump had threatened to nuke the #Resistance, there would be screams of outrage that would have run for years. But, as usual, it’s okay for Democrats.
