Why wait for legislative action to achieve wealth redistribution when you can just go ahead and take it?
Sen. Nicole Mitchell, a Minnesota state senator, boasted of helping to “create and teach a Diversity and Inclusion program” and “is committed to working toward a more just and equitable Minnesota.”
Like her DFL colleagues, that means taking stuff from people.
But even her DFL colleagues usually have a different process. Still, you have to admire initiative in a socialist.
A Minnesota lawmaker was arrested for alleged burglary Monday, less than a week after she advocated for safer communities at the state’s Capitol building.
Detroit Lakes officers booked State Sen. Nicole Mitchell, DFL-Woodbury, for first-degree burglary, according to local jail records. Police found the senator inside a Detroit Lakes home around 4:45 a.m. after the homeowner reported a burglary, according to FOX9.
State Sen. Mitchell joined Moms Demand Action Tuesday, an organization supporting restrictions on gun ownership, to promote solutions for gun violence.
Understandably, if you’re going to break into people’s houses, you would prefer that they not be armed.
Mitchell was endorsed by SEIU, Planned Parenthood and Bloomberg’s Moms Demand Action. And she lived up to their values.
Dispatchers received a 911 call at 4:45 a.m. from a homeowner about “an active burglary in process at her residence,” Todd said in an interview. Officers searched the home and arrested Mitchell, Todd said.
Mitchell was arrested while the Senate is on its Passover break. Her arrest comes at an awkward time for Senate Democrats, who hold just a one-seat majority with four weeks left in the legislative session. Her absence would make it difficult to pass any legislation that lacks bipartisan support.
Maybe she can still vote from prison?

I wonder why she would try to burglarize a house and if she’s done it before? Unless there was something specific in that home she was looking for, I’d say she has mental health issues.
Of course, anybody who’d live in Minnesota probably has mental health issues in my opinion. Unless you really love the Communist Party USA, Somalians, Winters as cold as the North Pole and being eaten alive by swarms of mosquitos in the Spring and Summer.

Her story is that she was trying to check on a relative who has Alzheimer’s Disease. However…
She allegedly entered the house in the middle of the night to retrieve some of her late father’s possessions, the “relative” and homeowner being her stepmother. If true, her action was remarkably stupid (or it would be remarkable if she weren’t a progressive) and technically criminal, but even so she still wouldn’t be as bad or even as criminal as the typical Democrat.
I mean, this is the party that is not only always trying to violate the 2nd Amendment, they are routinely involved in perjury, bribery, vote fraud, and trying to wrongfully imprison and then murder Donald Trump. She’s a law-breaking piker compared to the rest of her party.
She sounds like a real moron to have committed a crime like that just for some of her father’s possessions.

Weird is right. I read the police report and she brought two laptops, one of which was her mother in law’s whiche she claimed had been given to her and her in law denies, a cell phone, IDs, including her congressional one and…….assorted Tupperware? WTF?
She claims she wanted a flannel shirt, some photos and her father’s ashes? I know she’s a woke Dirtbagocrat and looks like a lesbian but if that’s true, she’s unhinged. Burglarize a house for that?
I figured right off she had probably chosen that house specifically because she wanted to burgle something specific or she has mental health issues. It looks like it’s both. I don’t believe her story, either. I think she told just enough truth to try and fool the cops but she’s concealing something

I learned that about crows the hard way. I once accidentally rousted one from her tree. She never forgave me and started all the crows in the area cawing at me whenever she saw me. She hung out in the trees above my house. One time we had a visitor from England who was talking with guests in the living room when I came walking home. She saw me and about a dozen crows above my house started cawing and raising a huge ruckus. I remember the face of one crow signifying “What are we cawing at him for” 🙂
I once saw a crow in Palm Springs drop a can of food in a road and wait for cars to run it over and bust it open. How it knew there was food in there, I don’t know. Maybe it had a small hole in it and the crow got close enough to smell it. Sometimes when I eat in my car, a crow will land next to me in the hope that I’ll throw some scaps out the window, which they’e obviously observed other people do and remembered it. I know crows and ravens hate each other.
In Australia, crows flip over big venomous cane toads and peck into their bellies because there is no venomous mucous there, it’s only on top.

Nicole Mitchell, a Minnesota state senator, boasted of helping to “create and teach a Diversity and Inclusion program” and “is committed to working toward a more just and equitable Minnesota.” Look at the devastated towns & cities that these do gooders run and you will find there two distinguishing attributes: 1) Their cities & towns have rampant crime, high drug use, low performing schools, high school drop out rates, high homelessness, and high taxes to pay for it. 2) The purveyors of all these nice sounding buzz words: diversity, inclusion, social justice, income equality, and environmental justice want you to believe that they are the anointed, highly intelligent, and most qualified people to pass judgement on people and lecture them on how to live their lives. When in fact these people only bring disappointment, chaos, hate, jealousy, and upheaval to their communities.

Yes, burglars prefer to break into homes without guns. That make hot burglaries done when residents are home, safer. That has been shown by statistics where guns used to be legal to own.
