The only antisemitism that Democrats seem to care about is criticizing Soros. And they're happy to accuse Jews of antisemitism for saying anything negative about a global sponsor of antisemitism.
Soros grew up in a “Jewish, anti-Semitic home”. He called his mother a “typical Jewish anti-Semite” who hated his first wife because she was “too Jewish”. He blamed Israel for anti-Semitism in Europe and argued that, “America and Israel must open the door to Hamas”.
“My understanding is that you went … went out, in fact, and helped in the confiscation of property from the Jews,” Steve Kroft asked Soros on 60 Minutes.
“Yes, that’s right. Yes,” Soros replied.
But Soros insisted that he felt no guilt whatsoever for his actions. “There was no sense that I shouldn’t be there, because that was well, actually, in a funny way, it’s just like in markets that if I weren’t there of course, I wasn’t doing it, but somebody else would.”
Soros described, what was a terrible time for most actual Jews as, “the most exciting time of my life.”
And he has defended anti-Semitism on the left, writing that, “The fact that constructive critics of Israel say things that, when taken out of context or paraphrased in provocative ways, can be made to sound similar to the comments of anti-Semites does not make them anti-Semitic.”
Now, absurdly, Democrats and leftists are attacking New York gubernatorial candidate Lee Zeldin over Soros.

It is known here in New York that a huge part of the Orthodox Jewish community is made up of the ultra-orthodox Hasidic Sect, who have moved up from the NYC area to Orange + Rockland Counties and built enormous tracts of multi-unit housing for families with 8-16 children. Local towns become overcrowded and due to Hasidic Block Voting the Sect receives welfare, grants and special consideration from New York State Governors to ensure their loyalty. Next they get Hasidic candidates on the School Boards and eliminate Art, Music, STEM and Gifted classes and Sports, because they have their own religious schools for their children. Then they takeover town boards and village boards and the more prosperous Hasidics make high offers on nice single family houses and the non-Jews sell out and leave. Anyone who complains is accused of ANTISEMITISM. New boss will be same as the old boss….

Any other group living and thriving wouldn’t bother you, but when Jews are Jews and not your victims, and build strong happy communities and thrive, oh heavens! You cannot stand it.

What I cannot stand is supporting religious “communities” who are said to be among the poorest citizens in this country, who are told by their Rabbis to go forth and multiple compliments of New York State. Yet they employ Nannies and housekeepers from Poland to work for their large families. The Amish and Bruderhof communities manage to take care of themselves and thrive without making life difficult for their neighbors or destroying local public schools. Very easy to virtue signal about AntiSemitism until you talk to other Jewish friends who have lived here for decades and are deeply ashamed and angry about the actions of the Hasidim. The political class never talks about this….!
“It is well known” that you do not want to live with such Jews mixed into your community or have them live separately in their own developments. The choice you would leave them is to not exist. “It is well known that” if other communities lived near you that you just might be chicken to speak of you would be far more likely to be physically unsafe.
Criticizing any individual Jew is never anti-semitic. There are bad Jews just like there are bad people in any group. For them to be criticized for actions (like funding dysfunctional DAs) is perfectly acceptable for the Jewish community.
Democrats see people only as groups instead of unique individuals. This is their way of dehumanizing others and leads to racism, sexism, anti-semitism and others.
Identity politics and group judgmentalism will be the death of the Democrat party. It divides people and pits them against each other. Most Americans are tired of it.
As an enthusiastic American, I question the wisdom of geographic exclusion by ethnicity.
I consider such exclusion, at minimum, a perfectly valid subject of inquiry and examination.

The whole idea that if you criticize George Soros you are anti-Semitic is absurd on its face. Does Soros identify religiously or culturally as a Jew? Does he support Jewish charities or causes (other than organizations like “J Street” which is designed to fracture the Jewish community)? Does he support Israel? No, no, and no. In what way is he Jewish? If he cannot be considered Jewish, how can disliking him and his activities be anti-Semitic?
If you were to read the description of the anti christ in the scripture, you would think you were reading about George Soros.
