You make your choices. And then you have to live with them.
Despite accusations of abuse by two women and a past that included years in a racist and anti-Semitic hate group, Minnesota Democrats chose Keith Ellison as their candidate for Attorney General.
A Republican hasn’t held the office of Attorney General of Minnesota in nearly 50 years. George Soros’ candidate is in theory a lock. But some voters appeared turned off by the allegations of domestic abuse against Ellison.
And that could change the outcome of the election.
Keith Ellison had already outraised his Dem opponents by a staggering amount and many of the votes had already been cast. So it’s not surprising that current results show him winning nearly 50% of the vote. But the bottom line is that over 280,000 Democrats cast their votes for a former member of a racist hate group, who continues to pal around with terrorist supporters, and who has been accused of abuse by two women.
And he did so with the full and unconditional support of the media, which has gone after the women accusing him, but never criticized him.
All of those things are worth remembering. Especially in the face of the next inevitable lecture from the Dem media.
