The reason, “You can fool some of the people all of the time, and all of the people some of the time, but you can not fool all of the people all of the time” works is because the foolers get foolish and sloppy.

Having succeeded in fooling so many of the people so often, they assume that they can tell just about any lie and get away with it.

“Want to fight inflation? Support Build Back Better,” Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., said Tuesday.

Sen. Tim Kaine, D-Va., said inflation is “a legit concern” that is “being addressed” in the Build Back Better package with proposals to lower costs for health care and education.

“We think there’s provisions in there that would address people’s concerns,” he said.

By people, Kaine means donors.

Shoving gobs of stolen taxpayer cash at Green Energy donors will not fight inflation. Endlessly spending money will not fight inflation. Just the opposite. 

None of these bills are actually helping the economy.

The Dem majority, faced with the knowledge of its imminent demise in 2022, is frantically trying to get as much done as possible. And “as much” means…

1. Achieving various legislative power grabs in a political coup

2. Feeding as much money to their backers as possible. Especially for those Dems who are set to retire and want a nice soft landing.

This isn’t helping inflation or anything else. It’s shameless thievery and corruption. Even when it’s disguised as “saving the planet”. 

We can’t afford it now. Or ever.
