While USAID is unable to function in Iran, between Yemen, Lebanon, Syria and Iraq, over $8 billion was sent to Iranian puppet regimes even without counting the money spent on Gaza.
In total, USAID had spent some $18.5 billion on Islamic terror states over those 5 years.

Maybe they’ll buy the wheat themselves. Or have people in other countries buy it. Wheat, rice and other crops actually are in demand. And if the government has to buy it, then it can use that to lower the price of bread here.
Worse still that 41% statistic admits that most of the USAID’s food isn’t even bought from America. It suggests we’re paying other countries to buy food to send to other countries.

I don’t know what a snap food line is but there are lots of food banks in San Jose, some of them with really good food. I used to go to some every month until I realized I didn’t need the food or the hassle. There’s a Salvation Army only two very short blocks from my apartment and I didn’t even have to get out of my car at its food bank but I don’t bother anymore and haven’t for quite some time.
I notice no food banks are run by Dirtbagocrat organizations. They’re the ones who make food banks necessary.

Food aid to others nations has helped in times of famine. It has also reduced the agricultural output in nations aided. Increased supply has ruined farmers by dropping prices. Rural people then gave up farming and ran to cities placing a greater burden on their nation to feed itself. Many in the cities were unemployed.
The proverb “Give a man a fish, and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish, and you feed him for a lifetime” is lost on the do-gooders and bleeding hearts of the world. They’re the fools who rush in to do something and end up doing far more harm in the long run than good.

Israel has, for decades run assistance programs with developing countries. But they don’t send food which would compete against local farmers, and they definitely don’t give them cash. They effectively “teach that man to fish”, specifically how to increase agricultural productivity, how to identify alternative crops, how to improve dairy output, etc. Some is done in country, some is done in Israel where they learn hands on. It costs a pittance compared to US assistance.

Actually, USAID’s budget was $50 billion back in 2023, the most recent year for which figures are available. I wonder why 2024 figures are unavailable? Its budget couldn’t possibly have increased last year, oh, no. USAID disburses 100% of the taxpayer dollars it receives on the Dirtbagocrat party, CIA covert operations against President Trump (especially when he was out of office 20021 to 2025,), every conceivable “woke” goal imaginable around the world, Jihad terrorist groups, foreign enemies, left-wing opponents of American allies like Polish President, Andrzej Sebastian Duda, and Hungarian Prime Minister, Viktor Orban, both of whom are anti-jihad. anti-illegal islamopithecine immigration, anti- enforced immigration of mostly islamopithecines by the EU, Anti-tranny and Alphabet People tyranny and staunch Trump supporters.
