Or, to put it another way, Biden’s DOJ refuses to search Biden.
After the revelations about Biden’s classified documents, people were asking where the FBI raids were. Not only weren’t there any FBI raids, but the DOJ refused to even send FBI agents to monitor the searches. The same DOJ that refused to trust Trump’s people to search for classified documents trusted Biden’s people to search for them.
The Justice Department considered having FBI agents monitor a search by President Biden’s lawyers for classified documents at his homes but decided against it, both to avoid complicating later stages of the investigation and because Mr. Biden’s attorneys had quickly turned over a first batch and were cooperating, according to people familiar with the matter.
It was so nice of the Biden administration to put so much trust in Biden.
Mr. Biden’s legal team prepared to search his other properties for any similar documents, and discussed with the Justice Department the prospect of having FBI agents present while Mr. Biden’s lawyers conducted the additional searches.
That makes it sound like Biden’s lawyers proposed having the FBI monitor their work and the DOJ turned them down.
Instead, the two sides agreed that Mr. Biden’s personal attorneys would inspect the homes, notify the Justice Department as soon as they identified any other potentially classified records, and arrange for law-enforcement authorities to take them.
The agreement was that Biden’s people would search themselves and then turn over anything to law enforcement.
Since when does law enforcement outsource investigations to the perps? When the lawyers for the perps run the DOJ.

The WH press secretary was particularly reprehensible yesterday with her remarks and stack of lies about the documents. The press corps needs to step up to the plate harder.

The FBI sent over 20 armed agents to Mar-a-Lago with a search warrant. It did not offer Trump’s lawyers the ability to accompany them but, instead, made them stand outside in August, in Florida, for 9 hours while they tore the place apart. And there are still people who argue with a straight face that we don’t have separate “justice” systems – one for Republicans and an entirely separate one for Democrats? BTW, I’m tired of hearing the timeline that begins on 11/2/22 with Biden’s lawyers finding the documents and calling the FBI and National Archives. The fact is that we have absolutely no idea how long the presence of those documents was known to Biden or his lawyers. I’m sure Joey will give his word as a Biden that the timeline is accurate. That’s why I don’t believe a word of it absent proof positive.

Do President Biden’s lawyers have the required security clearances to view, handle, and possess these documents? If not they may have committed federal crimes.
We need a detailed list of these lawyers, their security clearance levels, the documents and security level of each, and the precise timeline of each document from “finding” them to deliver to the Archive.
Jim says
There is a chain of possession that would have to be documented so that we know what happened to the documents at all times after leaving the WH. Probably the best way to obtain accurate information would be to trace the documents from the time they leave the WH or Archive until they are recovered. And it seems the archives and the DOJ do not have this information. The most important documents may already have been destroyed. This reminds me of the problems in Germany of securing the Stasi archives of information on East German citizens. The Stasi tried to destroy these documents after the unification of Germany. Likewise, documents about the Holocaust and ones for the Soviet security services. the KGB, after the end of Communism.
We Americans used to think our services were like the Boy Scouts, But it seems the transition to the Stasi and KGB is about as secure as our Southern Border. Especially when the political elites, including the far leftists, RINOs and deep state have control of our injustice department, FBI, CIA etc.

I don’t care if Trump or DeSantis gets in, I only care that they clean house at the DoJ and FBI and arrest and jail those criminals who created and took part in the Trump witch hunts.

I want prosecution of DHS conspirators, and the NGO conspirators along with freelance and cartel coyotes.
But, one can deal one’s way out. Sixty months if they snitch and testify. Two hundred forty months if they don’t. Majorkas gets a quarter, straight time preferably.
Morty Sobell got straight thirty in Alcatraz. Majorkas crimes are worse. Sobell was lucky. The Rosenbergs get the chair.

Why is Obama so quiet about this?
Did he know about this, did he get his cut when Biden stole documents then sold them for millions of dollars to China ( or whatever other foreign power )?
If Obama knew nothing ( doubtful ) and never authorized any of that, then Biden committed an illegal act since a Vice President does not have the right to declassify documents.
so which is it?
Where are the journalists asking Obama about this?
