A recent episode of The Dr. Phil Show featured a corporate “Human Resources Leader” (a “privileged” white woman, naturally, who speaks in an annoying vocal fry) singing the praises of the divisive, racist Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives that have been implemented all across America by her and her fellow progressives.
Watch as she proceeds to get her self-satisfied liberal worldview dismantled by Dr. Phil’s other guests, black pastor and author James Ward, Jr., and black scholar Erec Smith.

Equality = Everyone has the same opportunity
Equity = It’s complicated and difficult to understand and describe without confusing concepts and context but we get to implement Marxist ideology correctly this time.
DEI is Marxist.

I have a note on my office door that “If achieving equity requires me to treat students differently based on the color of their skin, I refuse to do so. Feel encouraged to file a complaint against me.”
Next to that is a poster of Dr. Reverend Martin Luther King, Jr., with his most famous “dream” quote.
Some “stuff” you just can’t make up. I encourage others to look up “72 Things Higher Ed Declared Racist in 2023.”
